Did "Xenoblade X" not have this weird Hip-Hop fusion crap? No "DMC" game has something like this, it's mostly some Electro/Rock/Metal mishmash, same with "Rising Revengeance". Also, you kinda have to take the genre into account. A theme for an RPG shouldn't be compared to a theme for an FPS or Character Action game. "Uuuuh, your Devil May Cry got these sick beats, we don't need this for our role playing game!" Imagine an RPG with "Doom 2016" music or with "Devil May Cry" music... well, the closest would be the first "Bravely Default".
Always remember that the lead composer had a pair of custom flutes commissioned that are shaped just like Noah's and Mio's, just so the music could sound as authentic as possible.
