If you sell your stocks when the stock value was $197.56, you made $2.18 x 10 = $21.80. Corporations simply do not care about the welfare of the people they only care about profits of their business. They’re just a company.
I’ve always seen them as chaotic neutral. If doing good and moral things would make them money, they’d do those good things. However, we seem to live in a world where the most immoral decisions can be the most rewarding. When good qualities aren’t rewarded, people get tempted, and then _this_ happens. What a world, what a world, am I right?

As a South Korean citizen, I always get scared whenever i get into an ambulance because it triggers me a nightmare, making me think I'm in the US and that I have to pay thousands. The ambulance crew has to constantly remind me that ambulance usage in Korea is free (i kinda went into panic and demanded them to let me off because i can't afford paying for the Ambulance), and i don't have to fork over thousands in ambulance fees. But when i go to the hospital visit, it doesn't make me think about the US healthcare for some reason. Like i remind myself it's subsidized healthcare.
@@meaty8887 Owch! I said this in another comment, but I remember watching a police officer body camera video. The officer asks if a bystander involved in some incident wanted an ambulance called to the scene to have the checked out. I just think it was all so preventable. All that our industries have to do is have a little more integrity. He had a point for sure. We pay the most for healthcare in the world, yet third-world/developing countries have better healthcare than we do. That’s only possible because it’s such a corrupt industry now. If they never decided to overcharge and make inane excuses to not pay for care, especially when necessary to save a patient’s life, none of this would have happened. This was such an easy dilemma to evade; the solution was so easy and simple, but I guess some people just *had* to gamble.
