You can use weights if you wish. personally I have found resistance based workouts better for my body so I tend to use either the resistance band, the Pilates magic Circle or my own bodyweight. if you look around my channel you will find lots of workouts that will help you build strength. I would recommend mixing the standing sessions with the resistance band workouts and trying to do 3/4 sessions a week. You'll find my standing work pretty challenging and I would encourage you to listen to yur body and mix things up., Hope that helps, Rachel 😊

I love this workout, Rachel. Today I really felt a big improvement in my strength and balance. It is really satisfying, because I work out with you almost every day and have done for at least 6 months now.
Oh my goodness, this is amazing. So I've been using hand weights for around 3 months to try and build up my arms and upper body (primarily to do some of the floor exercises that I can't hold myself up on very well!) and thought I was making good progress. I've just tried this using my light band, and flipping heck, I can't even complete the reps on some of these. I found this really challenging, in a very good way. I'm going to do this every other day, until I can do it with ease (could be a long time). I'm still amazed that this band is so much more difficult and challenging than hand weights. Thank you once again Rachel, I really liked this one, more resistance band ones for beginners please. Super!
This is great! I'm getting as good of a workout as when I went to Pilates Mat Class 3 times a week. Follow her videos you will be glad you did! I try to get in 3-4 a week targeting different parts of the body! Love it! She's the REAL Thing!
Another great video. I love the arm work with the resistance band. Any resistance band routine works for me. The only drawback, for me, were the knee bends, which I did less vigourously.

Started early this morning with this session. Finished with 30 minutes pilates, can't remember the namn of it. But it was really Hard work and I felt so good after🤩 I love all your sessions Rachel❣ Pilates is something I have to do everyday, the impulsion to do it is with me🥰 Thank you dear Rachel 🤗❤❣

I particularly like classes that utilise the Pilates ring, resistance bands and small ball. I regularly mix a couple of shorter classes together and follow them up with your night time class, just to relax and wind down. Hello Rachel thank you for this workout. I did some of yours in the first lockdown (the ones for seniors) and enjoyed them. I have a resistance band languishing in the drawer so am pleased that I am now able to use it!

This was intense! It was a little too much for me but I will keep doing it. I think I'll do it without the band next time so I can make sure my alignment is proper while I build up strength. I can't wait to do it again but I know I'm going to be feeling it tomorrow! Thanks, Rachel.
Phew, that was quite challenging for my weak shoulders, especially the “up, back and round” while standing on the end of the resistance band. But it was still possible and gives me hope that if I persevere I will get stronger! Thanks for another great session.

Just seen this. really interested in resistance band, as I've injured my arm using hand weights (annoying!), hoping I can combine your amazing Pilates with some strength training, can not wait!
Hi Claire, sorry to hear about your arm. The resistance band will challnege the arms so if anything feels too much on the injured arm then just loosen the band so it;s not so strong. Enjoy! 😊
Great workout. Love the resistance bands and I could do every movement. Maybe you can do resistance band and balance-just kidding, balance is my weakest point. This routine flowed very nicely.
