    Did you use a gasket between the throttle body and the adapter plate? How about it's longevity? Did it last long? Recently our country got stricter about exhaust noise and I wanted to do this on a budget especially since a Varex muffler is out of my reach.

      +creamtube I don't know the type of car . I went to a second hand car parts store and found this one. You just need to find one that is working for your exhaust. Already build your own?

      Ye! From an volvo b230 engine. Works awesome. Kinda fail that i put it AFTER the first muffler... Didnt sound as much as i wanted :P But thanks for the inspiring vid, it helped alot! :)

      +PR Senda I might do it. But it rly didnt change the sound so much x) Stupid volvos have too good mufflers. Gonna put it before the muffler later on when i get time. Your swift sounds so much better with alittle noise :) Where are u from btw?

    Very nice! How is the valve working if the exhaust is on temperature? I guess that the throttle valve is made from aluminium, and maybe tha plastic parts at the throttlebidy don't like it? is the valve working well then and not melting away?

    good thinking i like your idear. cheep and efectif . this tipe pf setup i would cut in before the first resonator or first buffler . just like an open exhaust. just foce the exhaust gases downwasds to prevent fire...

    I always said these look like throttle bodies, looks like it’s 10 times more reliable and works the same

    Idk if you still have this car but what size wheels are on it?, I've got one myself that I am slowly doing up however it still has the stock 13" rims, these look 14-15? do you not have any rubbing issues?

    • @prozing7304
      @prozing7304  7 років тому

      The rims in the video are 16''. But they where rubbing so I took them off. Rolling on 14'' now.

    • @TheCatMilton
      @TheCatMilton 7 років тому

      14s are the way to go. Better tire availability and they still dont rub. I wish I didn't refinish the 13" bbs rims I got for my car.. Tire availability isn't very good at this point for my size either..

    Suena genial, lo malo es que seguro que no se mueve ni tirándolo barranco abajo. XD

    does this leak at all?

    • @prozing7304
      @prozing7304  8 років тому +2

      +Tack Node It is not completely leakproof but it is so little that you only hear it if you give a lot of gas
      and you're under the car. If you stand next to the car you do not hear it leaking.

    • @p3l1k44n1
      @p3l1k44n1 7 років тому +1

      The reason why this will always leak is because throttle bodies are designed to have a pin hole so the engine can suck air when idling and the plate is closed.
      This setup will leak if you don't plug the bypass hole in the throttlebody.

      Bartosz ktoosiu that's it. Just loudy farting from small engine. Better option is a pure exhaust pipe with just one sport mufler in the end.

    are you fucking kidding me? who in their right mind would even consider doing this? I think its actually worse then the turbo whistle

    • @akellerseattle
      @akellerseattle 6 років тому

      J Wrecka it works better for cars that are generally loud.
      If you own a 240sx and want it to be loud chances are you'll get in trouble
      So you can switch between loud and quiet depending on the situation at hand.
