- Amstar Nostalgia 50cc with T-Bolt 140cc 4 speed manual swap. About 15 mile update.
New speedo with tach installed. Top GPS speed thus far is 59mph. Had lots of wind that day and didn't want to get blown off the test road.
Duro HF308 tires. 3.0/17R , 2.75/17F ride great and look good.
Interested in more info on that front fender! Been searching for an option for mine so I could run larger tires. Also how well does the larger rear tire clear with the factory swing arm.
Really cool, what's the most powerful engine you can swap in there and retain the automatic clutch?
Awesome update! These videos have helped me a ton whilst upgrading my own. How is the acceleration?
Crazy fast with the 140cc and manual clutch.
Top speed ?
@@bt4b4 so far 59 mph. Was a windy crosswind day and I didn't want to die
Just come cross your content. Are there any updates on this. Wonder how far this project could be taken? Wonder if any race / performance engine stuff you could do with it from your current setup or if 200 or 250 cc engine could fit.
The 212/190 could fit but reports were because frame is a "pressed frame" anything over say a 160cc would probably dreaded.
@@mayhembike Thanks for reply. Just wanted to say enjoy the content of this setup. Did you ever do ride videos with the new motor?
How was the engine swap? Was it pretty much plug n play, or did you have to make a bunch of mods to the frame? I want one, but the 50cc four stroke is a major turn off for me, my (modded) 90cc Tomos LX would probably outrun the 50cc fourstroke. Thanks!
50 was ok for street. Top soeed was almost 40mph. For local 25-35 was ok. The 125cc full auto was way better but still nothing great. A 125 or 140 with clutch would wipe the stock 50cc out. Yes was plug and play for me. A few videos up on the wire code matches
@@mayhembike Hey, cool thank you.
