Thank you SO MUCH. You saved the day over here. Me and my wife got a house party next thursday and all of a sudden our Roomba 621 showed error 14 and thanks to your video it is again running and operational. Thank you again. And congratulations for the quick and objective video. Greetings from northeast Brazil.
My Roomba 671 wouldn't even give me an error code when I hit the clean button, it just beeped. I removed the battery, did a factory reset and cleaned everything but it didn't fix it. I tried your fix and it worked, thank you!!!
After doing everything, including cleaning, taking apart the bin and removing and cleaning the motor it still didnt work. I got frustrated and kicked it quite firmly a couple of times and what do you know, he started up.
If this fix doesn't work. You need to check the small motor inside the bin. There's a hidden screw to remove it. I did it, clean it and it went back to work.
If you clean Everything and also checked the Motor theres one more thing that can cause the error 14. Open the top of the Roboter to Check the Main Board. Theres a wire coming from the contacts. The Clip that connects the wire can be loose. Thats how i fixed my error 14.
Just to let you know mine was giving me this error for a while and even after cleaning it over and over. What fixed it was actually taping the bin tightly in place. I think it has grown loose over time and sags so it feels the bin is not inside. Hope this helps!!
You are a life saver, I was getting pissed and almost threw my Roomba away. Your video saved me from buying a new one. Thank you!

Hey thanks, cleaned contacts but still same behaviour. Bridged the contacts now is fine but fan is now not working. Any ideas welcome please.
Are you getting any error codes?
@@TheLawnEngineer yes error 14
The fan is in the bin. These contacts are transferring electricity to the fan. If you have jumped them , the fan isn’t seeing any voltage.
@@TheLawnEngineer yes exactly, i ordered a new bin, hopefully just the fan motor is faulty.
Save our in Brazil hahaha thank you so much. It worked now hahaha😂 I cannot believe it was so simples. God bless u

cleaning did not help me, now all the lights are on and it does not clean.
The bin latch may be getting weak or broken, is the bins staying in tight?
