    a stout fishing line run around the glass can do the trick. Good video!!!

    I'm surprised he sacrificed the chrome strips at the back, rather than just cut the rubber. It seems to me the rubber will be replaced anyway. Looking forward to the "Putting back in " video.

      The aftermarket replacement rubber seals available are a terrible fit and will not accept the chrome trims properly. The top corners are not the same profile as the original. I have replaced mine and tried several new rubber seals and cannot find one with the same profile as the original. I wish I had kept my original seal. New chrome trim is available.

    There £135 for a rear set off chrome. just cut the seal for anyone doing it!

      Wow, although if the chrome is weathered or rusty I suppose it might be replaced anyway.
