After trying the glitch, here are some observations: 1. I tried it in the mountains near Scarecrow Hill, and it transported me to the sand beach on the lighthouse island next to Scarecrow Hill. 2. I tried a bit further to the east, it transported me to the guy who first teaches our character how to use the saving spots in the woods. 3. I tried it in Valedale and it transported me to the mountains I chose in point2...:D 4. This time I tried to find your location in the beginning of this video...:") Which is near the race track of Mr Antlersson, aaand.....it finally worked :D At first it only threw me a few meters away from the horse then suddenly I saw the water under me, and I was in the winter area :)
@@boglarkakiss4846 Oh my, that's incredible. 😅 Interestingly enough, in _The Autumn Rider,_ so far it has always transported me to that one location in _The Winter Rider_ no matter where I tried the glitch. However: the hill must be tall enough, and the glitch tends to start acting weirdly once you try it unsuccessfully - apparently it starts transporting you to various locations you rode earlier, or where you got a dangerous fall. It's better to reload your game once it starts doing this. But it's possible that certain locations always lead to other "spawning" places, as in your experience. To me, this happened a single time, in _The Summer Rider,_ not with the mountain-parking glitch but with the water-walking glitch. I somehow spawned right in front of the Castle Herman. o.O I'm glad to hear the glitch eventually worked for you as intended! ^^
@@SSOMiratives Oohh that sure is interesting...! Thank you for explaining how this glitch works exactly, I think this is the first time I ever heard it explained with rules, so to say. When I was little and saw gray area pictures on SS websites, people always said some vague thing like "unmount the horse at the 3 rocks in Jorvik", "jump in at the Valedale spring" etc., but I never managed to do it with those methods....:D so it's basically my childhood dream come true now thanks to your video c:
@@boglarkakiss4846 That's so heartwarming to hear, I'm so glad for you ^^ I had also always dreamt of visiting all these grey locked regions, and it's amazing to know that it's possible at last :) Right, it seems there's some unstability and "randomness" to this glitch, I thought I had it well mapped but apparently its behaviour can be more complicated, as your experience confirms. But it's good to hear that other people can get it working too, and if the glitch seems more unstable in their case than it is in mine, I recommend sticking to those few locations that are working for them :) For example that steep hill we tried, in the northeastern part of the Autumn Rider map near Mr. Anderson's race, will probably work for most people if it worked for you too.
