Got an MR2 GTS Rev5 a year ago and until I had driven one I would never have rated them but I must admit it is a fantastic little car. Dont be fooled though... the man driving the MR2 in this video has balls of steel to throw that car around the track like that, they are a very unforgiving car... lots of grip and then none.
That MR2s engine is right above the rear wheels giving it the weight it needs for better rear tire grip improving rear traction, down side is this gives it a rear weight inbalance, and with its rear wheel drive that oversteer is unavoidable.
@dufunk10 it didn't look that good to me. Not enough rear grip so, in low and high speed, the Mr2 was oversteering. Looking at the fastest lap graph at the end, it must have had an effect on the lap time
