That’s a fun shoutout, those two amps both sound cool. Ever try Quilter stuff? You should pick up a Quilter Aviator Cub and do some shootouts with that, I have been very very impressed with my Cub. Loud as can be, great tone, and all analog solid state. Whole thing is like 20 lbs it’s really cool!
For decades my stage amps have been a fender hot rod DeVille and a blues junior depending on the size of the venue. In the last year or so I bought a supro Delta King 12. I liked it so much I invested in a Supro black magik reverb. Both sound absolutely awesome without any external effects whatsoever. Fenders are great but I guess I'm a Supro guy right now! Neck pickup on a telecaster oh yeah!

I've never played a Supro but I currently have a Supersonic 60. I don't consider my Supersonic 60 to be the best at any one thing except the design of features. It's 2 clean channels work really well if I want either to fatten the upper mids using the bassman side or the more scooped mid vibrolux side. The feature I really like is the effects loop has level controls so I can use it as a volume boost. The footswitch is how I like it to be. It's got huge volume if needed but really sounds good at apartment volume. I really liked the clean tone of the Supro and the boost setting reminded me of a hotrod deluxe drive channel
Both sound very good clean. The fender sounds way thicker to me, more low end, more body. The supro is like more a pristine sound. About same comment on the edge sound. I think I prefer the fender there, almost sure I would prefer the supro if it had more low end. On the drive sound prefer the fender. With the pedal setup you have I prefer the supro. That’s all speaking about the isolated demos. When in the mix at the beginning of the video, both sounded great. Great video Jack, as always.
Hmm. Fender is def Fuller than the supro, so I prefer the strat with the fender. I prefer the LP with the supro. ...weird I know
Oh man they both sound great. I wish we could hear them compared in the mix with other instruments. I love that warm bouncy sound of the super sonic. I have a feeling that royale would be better in a band though. Was that the supro reverb at the end? Holy cow! I like both of them. I’ll take the super sonic because I am not in a band lol. The only amp i currently own is the TK gremlin. I had a big purge not to long ago. I get too much stuff and just get lost in the pile.

Can't go for the Supros. Tried several, and all failed to please my personal requirements. The SS 22 is a fantastic amp. I was completely blown away by the tonality of the amp. The Vintage selection in the second channel is far better than the "burn" channel. I suppose this is due to the applied filtering to create such a sandy grindy overdrive. Shredders paradise though I would guess. I have played through a literal pile of amps over 30+ years including some of the most legendary amps available and without hesitation I will tell you that with the proper speaker and amp set-up, the Super Sonic 22 is right up there in the top ten. I know how crazy this may appear to those who are also tone snobs such as myself, but I'm telling you, this amp is a sleeper, without a doubt.
Cool video. In a live gig context these two amps are very different animals. When run with the master all the way up on the Supro, it has way more headroom. I have a 20 watt imperial mk ii (which I love) and the Supro royale. The gain staging/volume is very different when comparing 20 vs 50 watts.
You meant the fender has more headroom right?? Because the clean channel on the fender is clean to 11.

Have the super sonic 22 gotta have the volume at 5 before the burn channel sounds good . Even though it's a od Chanel is sounds better to my ears with volume and gain working together and I boost mine with a wampler tumnus deluxe . Think the supro is not as warm but it's more clear. I would be happy with it I am sure but I already have the fender to me the mid content is the big difference in these two

I run the supersonic 22 as my gigging amp and despite its internet rep it's pretty quiet set clean. I do run a low gain V1 tube.
I like both.Both different sounding,I think the supro has got a bit of a vox type of tone to its top end,well to my ears anyway.
And you can get the Super Sonic 22 in head form, which is more my speed.
Thought both amps sounded great, and I'd be happy to own either. But, if forced at the muzzle of a Wookie Bowcaster, I'd go for the Supro.

I have a delta king and it's definitely more mid-forward and fatter sounding to my ears than typical blackface fender. Royale seems to overdrive differently than the delta king based on this video (I haven't played a Royale in person)
I tend to play clean so its Fender with fender, my ears always tell me. Whereas Gibson is more versatile ampwise.
i wouldn't kick either one off the stage. the clean tone of the supro is very impressive.
