Lol. When I saw he wanted $9, I couldn't get my message to him fast enough! I asked about creasing-none. I don't know how or why he was so low, but it worked out. Just made another great purchase from the guy, will be in a video later in the week. I think the Santo is getting the one-touch treatment, and eventually slabbed. It should fetch a 3.
Slowly but surely I'm getting there on the '59 set. Only the All Stars, and some minor hall of famers - and then for the common guys to fill in the gaps!
Great mailday! I don't even know where to begin. The Boggs is a difficult one to track down. Of course, I like Perez-steele but the Bobby Doer is my favorite.
I have the Santo and Billy Williams cards. I would LOVE to have that Bench, very nice get there for $77. Fingers crossed for your sports room eventually. I know I enjoy mine.
Thanks Eddy. It's starting to drive my buying a bit more - thinking about displays. Speaking of which the '61 Santo and Williams would make for a nice display wit a couple of autos, and either a perez steele or HOF Plaque.
Awesome williams!! I totally agree.
I got to have one of the Bench cards!!
The 59 Mays has really nice centering!
These were fantastic pick ups. The Ron Stanto deal was a steal.
Dude!!! More like Chicago Fan!!!😁 Great cards here of Billy and Ron!!! Sweet Boggs too!! Whoa Willie!!!👍🏻 Bench auto looks great! 🤞🏻sports room man!!!

Great cards! Would you tell me how , where the Bench card came from? Thanks
It's a 1989 Perez-Steele Celebrations postcard. I bought it on ebay.
Great pickups Allon! You know I love any '59s! And what a deal on the Santo rookie.

The Doerr really pops. Can't believe it is nearly 75 years old.

Great looking Mays card. The paw Sox wade boggs looks pretty solid. You going to send that card off to Boggs to get signed?
I hadn't really thought about it b/c I have so many Boggs autos... but it would be sweet signed!
