    Hell yeah! Just butchered the skinning job on my first fox, going to watch somebody that actually knows what they are doing, eat some dinner and try to get my first fisher cat skun out.
    I am psyched to watch another season with you trapper j!!

      @perchman4765 I'm in Maine. We have some decent ones, I got a small male but I'm really looking for the big giant male that's been around the backyard lately.
      Do you get them with porcupine quills in them? I almost got stuck a few times, the thing had like a dozen in its face.

      @@mikewhitman745 I lived in northern MN for several years and there were fishers where I lived but I didn't trap. I was busy running a winter fish'n program on the lake and plowing roads on the lake. To busy for fun things like trapping. Thanks for the reply. Hope you get the big one.

    I finally got one on you bud! I caught my first otter last season in a 220! To bad a possum clogged yours up! I loved your blind set on the sand bar! It was fun watching you make those sets! Good luck with everything my friend!

  • @j.j.clingman4083
    @j.j.clingman4083 10 місяців тому

    Hey buddy for that set that was all covered by sand you should definitely splash a bunch of water up the sand slid about 3’ to 4’!!! That will help from all the sand falling down the slide and onto the trap as much as if it was dry!!!!

    Hahaha checking male or female coyote and instead gives you a surprise turd!! 😂😂
    I know nothing about trapping and live in the city so it’s all foreign to me, but LOVE the vids! I’ve been watching your trapping videos for I think 4-5 years now. Best time of year!

    I love the blind sets I would have set the same spot but wouldnt have put the stick to the right across the path or the last one you put up against the log to the left. Would have tried to catch ‘em how it was because they were already using it. Just me tho I feel like less is more on that spot but then you get a spot where it feels like the more shit you put up the better you catch it’s weird for me

    Yeah, that drought screwed a lot of things up. I'm limited with water trapping to begin with, so it's going to be a slow season for me

    I really enjoy your videos. Your pond is huge, we have a small one at our place, here in Boone, Cty, Iowa. Can't keep the water clear in summer. Hv 3/50 gallon barrels set up as filters and the pond is still green.🙃😵‍💫 You have some great ground for trapping. Carry On.

    I have a skunk working hell out of my front yard & I almost got sprayed the other night pushing a wheel barrel in the dark, the moon light barely saved me. It was black & dirty sliver grey with black streaks instead of white striped. I've never seen one like it before. It went under the house(trailer) with the cats & kittens to escape me & the wheel barrel. I should have tipped the wheel barrel up & flipped it over top of it when it was backing up at me.
