I like the rope idea. Carry 75-100ft of small rope and the back tied off and toss it over the edge on your way down and pull yourself back up! 😊

Trouble with footholds on otters is if the otter is coming down the slide . Their going fast and will go over your foothold. Either move it out away from the bank more or use a conabear.
