Boom. Notification squad🌟🌟🌟
It's also basics for the Knight Rider car KITT from the TV series
That is exactly what I thought! We sure David Hasselhoff wasn't hiding on a corner somewhere?
Mum used to love the K.I.T..T. car. We bought her a red plastic Camaro (all the store had), painted it black and glued a bit of paper done to represent K.I.T.T.'s scanner light. Sat by the TV set for the the longest of time. Ended up giving it to the upstairs kid when she retired and moved down to Texas.
My sister had a white one. She borrowed my truck so I got to drive the Firebird. Seatbelts didn't work and on a trip to exchange vehicles with her, the catalytic converter melted shut and stranded me in the middle of nowhere in Texas. Ahh fond Firebird memories. I really like the wheels on this one.
Super, super cool.! Back in 80's no job, no school, just fun with my matchbox and majorette and siku.
This car was a panty dropper 37 years ago, and fully restored ones still are. This car looks great! another sweet color variation is white with blue stripes, just in case you come across another Trans Am. Awesome vid! thanks for sharing.
I had this one as a kid and it was my absolute favourite one! Oh boy, my life flashed before my eyes :)
My favourite yank tank. I owned one of these for 7 years here in the UK. Love it, thanks rob
I would’nt be able to resist the temptation to convert it into KITT. 😁
Respect that You did’nt. Nice job. 👍
it looks like the trans am in smokey and the bandit three. it looks great. i live in the states and i drive a 87 firebird formula everyday. i have owned it for 19 years, took my wife on our first date in it and brought my daughter home from the hospital in it. it is a part of the family.
Looks good! This is actually the Trans Am model of the Firebird AKA... Firebird Trans Am. My dad had an 84 Trans Am and I loved it. The rear lights on this gen Trans Am were almost a smoked red all of the way across. Keep up the great work!
Christopher Slager certian models had a black center peice tipicall 90-92 models
@@misterbuklau4053 my dad's 84 center was black with the bird too.
Christopher Slager some have it some dont my 94 has a black center
Black beauty, understated power. Plain Jane ready to run. Thanks and keep them coming.
One of the most beautiful car that have ever exist, marvellous work, the wheels are awsome
I used to own a real life car like this. You did a great job. I would love to have this car.
Not bad I use to have one when I was a kid it’s nice seeing cars being done from when you was a kid brings back memories
I think it looks brilliant! That colorscheme just screams KITT.
You did an American proud! Rock and roll , and fast!!
I like Your description of the real car. My Dad worked at a Pontiac Dealership at the Time this Body Style change happened. People Loved it or Hated it. Nice job fixing up your Model. It takes Me Back.
Dude, I remember having that as a kid! Paint flaked quick on it back in the day. Nice resto!
I had this same exact car as a kid. He was the "leader" among my hundred other matchbox and hot wheels cars. So cool to see this pop up on my timeline.
You did a good job with the Firebird painting it black plus it look good with it's new wheels.
That's a good looking model! The gunmetal rockers and air dam are a good look!!
Nice little restoration. The Firbird looks very good.
A simple and clean looking Firebird. Nice!
Love how the colors look together on this. Nice work!
Noice! Who didn’t want one of these after watching Nightrider in the early 80’s? I remember chopping down the steering wheel in my old Fiat Uno to replicated KITTs 😉
Poop! Meant Knight Rider!
That is a super nice firebird and the gold rims are a perfect touch
Holy F...! Absolutely stunner! The wheels suit it so good. I Like the black gloss colour. It's one of my fav MBX cars from the 80s. Looks really really good
I own an 86 black full version Firebird. It's actually my daily driver. I once had a red 86 Camaro, as well. I love the third gen of these! Very aerodynamic, sleek and sexy!
Man you are lucky. I had a restored 89 Camaro which I lost for reason out of my control. I so miss that car. The body style of the third Gens is so sexy. They are also so fun to drive.
The gold rims with white letter tires really set this car off. Sweet Firebird.
Much better than it was. Killer work.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Knight Rider!!!!
It's a pleasure to watch you turn a beasty into a beauty. Thanks for the Vlog 👍
1982 GOOD job 😎
1982 Pontiac Firebird one of the most iconic cars in America. Thanks to the hit tv show Knight Rider. Would love to win this car.
Thanks Rob, nice restoration, take care as always from South Africa
Nice clean custom job ! Really sharp looking.
Love it
tha'ts my favorite car in real life, you did the matchbox version justice... nice job
I love those authentic diecasts
Absolutely stunning! The wheels fit it very well and the tan interior set it off! I've been a very big fan of the 3rd generation F body Firebirds and I hope to own one in real life some day 👌👍
Looks amazing. Love the wheel/interior combo. Without the stickers it looks very much like the Knight Rider car. Keep it up sir. Glad you decided to keep the commentary.
Nice details mate, looks good! I like the two-tone metallic/gloss
This was my favorite one when I was a kid
This was my first matchbox car as a kid!
Top job on that one! Wheels look MUCH better than stock. Real nice job
Nice! The wheels go perfectly with the car.
Aha, cool! I repainted my 82 Firebird T-Top car from blue to metallic green. There's a real 83' 500hp Firebird I built, in my list here, doing burnouts from a 1996 VHS tape. Cars & Randy playlist!
kool , thanx...remembers Knight Rider...neat one , Rock onnn Rob
Robert
This is one of my favorites that you've done!
Nice job Rob! You've captured the flavor of these cars with the wheels and trim you've added!
Beautiful restoration
Lovely build sir, really appreciate the effort you put in to these videos
Big fan of the Firebird my dad had one when I was a kid
Great job man. The detail is excellent. I can see the rear defogger on the windshield. And that is cool. The new Wheels really set the whole car off. The paint job is spot-on for GM. Nice work Rob.
Sweet! Makes me think of Knight Rider. I would love to own one of these black beauties. 😎
I’ve recently discovered your channel and love your videos! This car looks amazing!! Fantastic work.
Good looking bird ! I've owned more than a couple 3rd gen F bodys (82-92) and my very good friend has a formula firebird in black that makes just a tad more horsepower than it did new. LOL ! Seeing your car takes me back a couple years ! LOL ! 🍻
Wow! The extra details really make it pop mate! Just wow!
Had a 1978 Camaro, loved that car.
Man that car is awesome! Nice build.
i loved firebirds when i was a kid
Very nice. Your finishing and detailing are top level. Another winner
Nice job, this was my dream car when I was 18👍
My dad used to own an '82 trans am. He loved the car but ended up selling it to a coworker and used the money to buy a 1989 Mustang, which is actually my daily nowadays. Sort of the passing of the torch if you will. We still have the original bowling ball hubcaps from that T/A.
Wheels are a perfect match. Fantastic Job
Looks really good with those wheels. Great job Rob.
Awesome job amazingly fantastic well done Cheers KC Tasmania Australia
I've waited so long for this one! Thank-you thank-you!!
Cracking job on that restoration.
That turned out beautiful Rob thumbs up across the board.
Nice job again, Rob. These wheels set it off beautifully. x
Come on, that's a beauty. Excellent as always.
What a beauty! ....Nice work Rob👍
That's a mean machine you made there Rob. Nice work.
It turned out great id be proud to have it in my collection i did own a white 83 model myself i loved driving it around just cruising it was a sweet ride
Very nice job on the 3rd gen Firebird. Very tasteful. Im glad to see it wasn't "murdered out".I had a 1985 Trans Am back when i was 18. It was great with the women. But a rattly, smoky, pile of crap compared to the 70s Trans Ams i had which were some of the greatest cars I've ever owned.
Liked AND subscribed! Beautiful make over of my favourite car mate, love your work! In you comments you said it wasn't a show winner, but I'd be more than proud to have that beautiful machine proudly displayed in my cabinet! Cheers mate from Australia 👍🇭🇲😎
Wow great job, I had one of these a long time ago.
Looks great. Good choice on the wheels/tires
I like that it's basically a stock 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am without all the KITT customised nose and dash etc.
Pretty nice, and also good customization for that kind of model! Rob, you nailed it again...
Very nice job.😍 Not everyone had these but wished they did!🙄 I had a 1976 Chevy Vega hand me down.😣 Then sadly bought a 1983 Toyota Tercel.🤮
When that died I bought a 1989 Acura Integra.😀Wisely bought a brand new red 1992 Dodge Stealth.🤩 Awesome car.🚀 So much for the eighties!👍🏻👍🏻
By the way, you're actually about the best one I've seen at all I need the details of the car. Most everybody else it's a little messy. Yours turns out actually pretty fantastic.
That's beautiful well done!
Absolutely love this car!!
That's sharp! Excellent work! 👍
Love the colors
Really nice job, simple and clean is sometimes the best way to go. A “Screaming Chicken” decal (that is the nickname used for the firebird on the hood) would be about all I would change. Another great one 👍!
Looks real good !
I never commented on this when it was released, what?
Definitely not my favorite generation of Firebird, but you made me like this casting a bit more, thanks for that.
Had a blue and silver one. Nice restore.
Big improvement Rob, looks a lot like some of the real ones I remember!
Great job it came out looking great.
Looks amazing! Love watching your videos!
So much better than what it was!
The 2 tone black works well with this Rob. Thumbs Up from me
One of your best...so cool! Keep up the great work! 🦅
Awesome! Looks like a show winner to me!
Looks awesome love the wheels
Looks great. Well done.
