- Join us for my first ever visit to Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia for the grand opening of their new roller coaster, Pantheon, and we also ride nearly every other major attraction, including Pantheon, Verbolten, Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, Invadr wooden coaster, enjoy a train ride on the Busch Gardens Railway and more! We also see several incredible shows, including Celtic Fyre and Emerald Ensemble, enjoy the St. Patrick's Day festival, try some delicious food and do some shopping and take in all the details of this incredibly beautiful and unique world class theme park! This has been the only theme park outside of Florida I have been too and I love Verbolten, I purchased the pin for it! This busch is themed a lot better in my opinion!

That drop track on Verbolten really catches people off guard. Certainly caught me off guard, and I’m glad I didn’t know about it beforehand, or I might not have gone! The coaster also pays homage to Big Bad Wolf, the coaster that was there before it. I’m so glad you were able to enjoy what Virginia has to offer!
I adore verbolten! I know that one day, I’m going to bring my best friend, who is a few years younger than me, and terrified of coasters, on verbolten to show her that there is nothing to be afraid of. It feels AMAZING to help someone face their fear!
Verboten is under rated in my opinion. It certainly has the best theming in the park which isn't the case for many of the newer coasters.
I made sure not to tell my friend about the drop track on Verbolten for her first time. Her reaction to it was SO worth it. We somehow got to ride every adult coaster at least once by lunchtime that day, with most of them being in the front.
I love Disney but frankly this is a very nice change. I am enjoying this road trip and seeing all the fun you two are having. Great vlogs

Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been consistently ranked as the most beautiful theme park in the world. I love it and feel very fortunate that it’s within only a couple of hours drive from me.
Fall with the changing leaves + Howl-O-Scream is also a great time to go
This park is near the top of my bucket list. Many vloggers who cover this park just focus on the roller coasters, which I'm excited for those too, but I also want to take in the beautiful scenery and details, just like you showcased. Great video
I noticed the same thing, I’ve hardly seen any vlogs of the beautiful scenery so I made sure to show that bc I was not prepared and I wanted to really showcase the park and how gorgeous it is!!! Thank you so much!
I worried when Busch sold these parks because they were always top tier. So far, so good though. The grounds upkeep and park upkeep adds to the experience makes it easy to relax and chill after a thrill ride which is much needed.
I have season passes to this for park for many many years now and it’s very common for us to go up and not ride one coaster. Just enjoy the other rides, grab a drink and enjoy the park for the most part.
This is my go-to theme park, it really is amazing! I was there yesterday and it did not disappoint!!
I have been to this park once in 2015 and I’m going this summer I’m so excited it’s the most beautiful theme park I’ve ever been to so much scenery to look at really takes your breath away
I love how each ride has their own robotic “voice” with their own theme. Like “we hope you enjoy your ride” or “thank you for riding and enjoy the rest of your day at Busch gardens” type thing I think they are called safety spiels I know they have em at Disney too

Verbolten is one of my favorite rollercoasters. I never expected that track drop either.
It’s like th13teen at Alton Towers & Hagrid’s at Universal, I loved it!
It's cool to see someone's first experience with this park. I have lived 15 mins from the park most of my life and don't really appreciate the small things as much anymore. Glad y'all had a good time!

i love how you were screaming on Pantheon but still had it together enough to rotate the GoPro. You are going to love the scenery in the mountains at Dollywood and you'll love their steam train. It's an actual antique steam engine that once traveled own to town on a real railroad.

BGW was my home park in the 80’s. So much has changed since then that it looks like a whole new park. I miss the Big Bad Wolf, but there is so much new to see.
BGW is a very pretty park. I like how they're able to take rides that you can get in other parks but make the POV's nicer because of all of the details they add. I also like how even when it's "super crowded", it's never super crowded. And the fireworks shows are great.

This is supposed to be a theme park, but with the music selection of stuff like Party in the USA, YMCA, Dancing Queen, and Dynamite, I'm pretty sure they think they're at a wedding 💀😂
And I love that Sam tells you the history of the rides you're walking past, him and his Expedition Theme Park channel has come a long way. He has such a wealth of knowledge for these attractions!
That’s because it was the grand opening, they usually always play music appropriate to the theme!
I love Williamsburg. You get not only rides but Colonial times & the different countries to visit. I especially loved the dancing in Germany. We are not ride enthusiasts.

My friend works in Italy and I used to work out in traffic. I love this park so much it's my Disney. So much magic from this place and it's weird and amazing to see a first time experience of a place I grew up

Watching you two enjoy one of my favorite theme parks! Their Howl-o-scream is Amazing. You’d love it. I’ll be there in May for my husband’s work picnic. But first, Disney in April.
I love seeing the different places you are going and what this trip will offer to all of us. I loved that they were still in the celebration theme of Saint Patrick’s Day. I had gone to Williamsburg a long time ago but, we visited the old fashioned town part where they had the candle light tours in the houses and horse carriage rides. Glad to know about this theme park.

I am so so happy that you guys were able to visit my local park! BGW has always been a favorite of mine because of so many things to do, whether I wanted to ride rides, see a show, or sample food. Verbolten is a personal favorite of mine, mainly because of how comfortable the seats are to me. Personally waiting for the summer time when the water rides open up.

I really loved watching this! The yellow flowers are Daffodils, the national flower of Wales (UK). I live in Wales and we have loads here at the moment....a true sign that spring has sprung. Enjoy the rest of your road trip guys and thanks for sharing with us all.
This is my home park and even though I d not been since well before the pandemic, it’s nice to see it again. I love seeing it through fresh eyes and those who haven’t seen it before. So glad you had a good time. I remember summers going three or four times. We’d start open to close and sleep on the way back home as someone drove.
Grew up going to BGW all the time. When Apollo’s Chariot opened in ‘99, Fabio was one of the first riders and got hit by a flying goose in the face.

yes!!!! this is my home park and while I love all of the coasters, my favorite thing about it has to be just how beautiful it is and taking in the scenery. its a place I would go just to hang out anytime. I like how you focused on that aspect as well! So glad you enjoyed it!!

Ugh love this video so much! Brought back so much nostalgia for me! I remember going as a little girl and riding little dragons. I love the theming of this park, it’s like World Showcase stretched out! Can’t wait to go back as an adult one day. Still hoping you can come to Dollywood sometime soon, Jackie! Welcome to my home park. Loved all the positive mentions on the park. We are there multiple times throughout the year. Nice being only 30 mins away.
I live 15 minutes away from this park, and even though I can’t stand roller coasters, this may be one of the greatest parks in the world, and it is absolutely amazing! Fun fact: It has been voted the most beautiful theme park in the world for the past 31 consecutive years! 😁

It’s really pretty! Especially when the sun is out, but I prefer it during Christmas time when all the lights are up and glowing in the night.

I love this video and reading all the comments, because this is my home park that I have visited for a while now, and I love seeing people enjoying it, and not only just the coasters, but all the scenery and just wait till you come back when everything is bloomed… also I live for verbolten reactions, and yours was perfect, I think it is a underrated coaster, it’s the closest ride I can go to that has that Disney feel to it!!
This a beautiful park so many fun rides. Verboten was amazing. My son performed there for a season about 5 years ago. They have a lot of fun entertainment. It was so much fun there. I’m m so glad you were able to visit.

I live right by the park and when I go to Germany to eat I love there mile high cake. Chocolate cake with whip cream icing that is frozen if you get there early and is a meal in its self. Glad you enjoyed our park please come on back.

My family has been going to BGW since the 1970s- it’s a gorgeous park when the trees and flowers are blooming! It’s still very early in the spring up north! It’s very hilly, unlike Florida!

Glad to see you and Sam enjoying my home park. BGW is my favorite of the two Busch Gardens. I love the animals in Tampa but Williamsburg has the more beautiful park and will always be my favorite. You have to return during Christmas time. That park is so pretty and the Grand Illumination in Colonial Williamsburg is a must see too during that time.
Totally agree, even BGTB is my "home" park, BGW is so beautiful it doesn't compare.

It’s cool seeing you experience the park I’ve been to the most! We use to go every Halloween when we lived in NC and went to Christmastown a couple times when we lived in VA. It’s a very pretty park especially when the trees are filled with foliage.
This is my favorite park outside of Disney World! I'm a Virginian and have season passes. I can't believe you didn't ride Nessie! I always head straight to it. You missed Griffon too but at least you got to Alpengeist which I've always thought was way underrated. 🙂

Busch Gardens is a great theme park. Howl-O-Scream is something to experience, but I recommend 2 days for that event. The park is very crowded in October because of all the extra events.

Went to Busch Gardens (and Dollywood) in 2020. Both are such fantastic parks. The best time to ride Apollos Chariot is at night, in the back rows. It’s so dark in the woods.
