They actually fixed it a lot faster than I expected it. It's not that it's a British plane. it's a plane meant for ground battles

The change logs are the most important info you can get from Gaijin. So is beneficial to actually read them.
I do read them on occasion but usually I hear about them in my discord long before I get a chance to read them.

Its much better now but its "massive power" is not something you can use to your advantage apart from climbing, the lighter aircraft can still catch you so its definitely a tough one to use if you include its heavy and leyboad based flight characteristics, but anyway I swear they buffed the hunter fga. 9 , It feels like I'm playing arcade.

they changed the FM on the Ki-45 as well! Unfortunately, I'm not good at the game so I probably won't be able to tell the difference. I was wondering if you noticed anything :)

The Rudder was improved a little bit (I suspect due to moaning on the Russian forums) and the roll rate was increased thanks to my bug report. :)

Unfortunately the elevator is still the same though with the instructor, mushy and unresponsive.
However the plane is loads better than it used to be. The rudder is always going to be a bit ass but with the faster roll rate that can be better compensated for.
I also find it interesting how you say the Scimitar isn't very manoeuvrable.
You're playing on 20 minutes of fuel and staying at low altitude.
I play the Scim on min load and due to the excellent climb rate tend to loiter around 5k and pick my engagements from there.
Bar supersonics, on minimum fuel the Scimitar is one of the most manoeuvrable planes at high speeds.
My idea of playing it is, the faster you are, the more manoeuvrable you are. So come down from the clouds in a screaming dive, launch a missile, do a pass, then climb back up and repeat.

@whooptiedo can you make a controls setup guide for new players coming to war thunder? Pc ps4 and now xbox players can all play together Since the starfighter update. Which means xbox players have access to sim battles now and for most of my friends that was a breaking point when it came down to wanting to play on xbox.
A couple months back I did a 'Tips for Success' video which I outlined some of my controls, granted they're mostly stock, but I also uploaded my config files. Its truly only relevant to PC players tho.

Yeah this thing was an utter fucking pig in real life, it's understandable that FAA pilots going from super docile jets like Attackers, Sea Venoms, and Sea Hawks crashed so many of them. A pig with incredible power and armed to the teeth, but a pig nonetheless.
How is this plane Tank RB battles? Any issues with shooting the bullpups and pulling out?
Its like the german line R-3, u can shot the Bullput fron a very long distance, correct tu guidance to seccure the hit/kill and, if you still have time, run out before your nose hit the ground...
Best CAS for 8.7-9.3, turns even better than the hunter and the acceleration is precious

@@WhooptieDo Ok maybe 5 minutes fuel, but it does appear when u are low on fuel
@@RYHo-ni4my I'd say that's realistic, when you're nearly empty on fuel, the engine suffers from starvation. happens me a lot when driving the car on reserve, it goes very smooth on normal driving, but the moment I floor it, the engine stalls a bit before engaging properly... also my reserve warning light will go on/off depending if I'm on a hill or not.

I've said it from day 1, I dont see the point of adding vehicles that historically had 'issues' when the majority of players will find this 'issue' frustrating. its vehicles like this that THEY need to bend the rules a little to make them worth playing.
That was the point I made as well, and I think they did bend them by their standards a bit to make it playable.
Should i buy this or wait until swift ?
Right now, with the way 9.0 world is, I'd avoid anything in the range that faces harrier.

@@Onurkoltuk67 honestly, it's a very good bird right now, the swift F1 (I assumed you were talking about F7 earlier) might be viable as long as you get down tiered.

So in 4 months with a premium yak 3. I got my first jet for the french.... 15 battles. 8 assists. Fml the guns are horrible without upgrades

Ok, this plane is a beast. I have above 2.0 K/D in RB which for me is pretty good, and I have almost 4.5 K/D in Sim. I did clutch 1vs4 against 4 G.91s so this plane can definietly hold its own

A bad descision, and ally plnae shot uptiered to a point where my sb were against jets and my arcade was terribel so was my realistic, and I got to 1k sl where I can't make extra presets and I'm kinda screwed over, and trust me I've tried every thing, any way how do I entet

@@WhooptieDo Give it a try, on min fuel the scimitar accelerates faster. Luckily because the scimitar doesn't have an afterburner it can do a whole game on min fuel, if your not playing on min fuel your playing wrong imo.
