    Been like 2 weeks I scroll videos about weathering, hard pastel, oil pastel, pigments, water, thinner... salt chipping, dust chipping... I put all that together..
    But to be honest, your technic and explanations are one of the best!

    Brilliant! I love these tutorials of yours. Weathering is such an easy way to add realism to a model - this truck looks far more convincing with your finishing touches than it did when you started.

    • @TomleyRC
      @TomleyRC  5 років тому

      Thanks Del. The C34 you are getting is not as detailed as this, more of just a dirty look than rusted, I'd like to see how you add your little touches to it. 😎

    cool stuff. a while back Gabriel Silvaz channel showed using steel wool to crush leaving particles all over, then using a mister with vinegar and salt mix to make the rust happen. after its where you like it (and dry), then mat no gloss clear coating. another neat little way.
    this morning got lap full of New Bright Jeep body going onto WPL C frame, gave it 10 mm LED's and plastic chrome bezels for the headlights (super bright!), sliced the hood so it opens (12lb fishing line figure 8 stitched for hinges and magnets to latch shut). it'll be slow with the 400 rpm 6v N20 motors for now. if you haven't seen yet, I uploaded 5 videos last week, 1st one showing the lowered C-24 DRIFT MINI TRUCK! click my nickname to get there I suppose :)
