Beast!
Amen to that!
My buddy who is sponsored just got a 400hp verado v10… honestly it was very hyped up.. i run a 250 pro XS on my ranger and the v10 wasn’t it for me.. didnt feel any better than what i have. 😊
Both are amazing motors and run like the wind. Thanks for the input.
What a monster!
It sure is
That’s awesome!
Thanks. It was a great ride
Amazing!
You are!
You should ride in a 50 foot Outer Limits, with a pair of 1350 Mercury Racing twin turbo 9 liter V8's. They accelerate from 60, to 130 faster than most boats can get up to 40 mph. It skews your perception of fast boat.
Been a Mercury pro staffer for 25 years and would love it! Thanks for watching.
Great Video. Two questions. You said it was a 17p in the video, but showed a 27p. Which was correct? Then was just wondering what its top speed was. Thanks again. Keep up the great content.
Hey. Thanks for watching and commenting….really appreciate it. The diameter is 17 inches and pitch is 27 inches. Here’s a video that explains the difference between pitch and diameter. I believe we got up to about 68 and would have gone faster had the lake been smoother.

That thang rips
Oh yeah. Amazing power. Thanks for watching.
That thing is super quiet at idle for a v10
It’s as quiet as your refrigerator! Thanks for watching and commenting!
What is the top speed? Hopefully it's not a gas eater
I’ll have to check with Steve but I believe it’s about 72. At that speed he probably gets 2 miles a gallon. He’s a happy retired guy so he’s enjoying his big motor. Thanks for watching
wow
Ha. Yep
i bet that is an expensive motor @@JimHanelyfishing
They are about 30 grand
Ridiculous! A 200 anything would work.
Maximum power on any boat on Lake Erie is never a bad thing. I have a maxed out 300 Verado on my lund as I have many big boys on board and have since I started guiding in 1978. Besides, it’s Steve’s retirement boat, so he’s a happy fisherman! Thanks for watching.
How Come you are adressing your self as captain - on another man's boat?! Isn't he the captain then?!?!!?
Thanks for watching and commenting. I’m a 46 year USCG licensed Captain and that doesn’t change no matter whose boat I’m on! He’s the owner of the boat but he’s not a captain!
If he has a boating license and is driving his own boat then he is the captain of that boat. You can still call yourself a captain, because you are, but in that scenario so is he.
