The way we used to talk, is very important to describe our personalities. Her personality seems very sweet. It could be us too. We don't need to idealise anyone, she's here to tell us that we need to be positive about our selves too.

I'm really trying to become a less cluttered person with bipolar disorder and Asperger's syndrome who prefers to be at home. For more than 10 years I've let our house get into a terrible state. We've started decluttering slowly, one room at a time. Trying to use all your tools about minimizing, living an easier happier life Sadia. From one Canadian to another thank you for your wonderful inspiring videos and website and information. You're a great ambassador for what Canadians can do for the world, if we try. Keep up the good work! So proud of you getting 800K subs in under 2 years. Obviously you're supplying a need that is out there. :) Well done!

I also know I won't know many of your struggles because they are unique to you but I just wanted to comment well done to you!

I am recovering physically and mentally from a string of high intensity weeks of long hours for a particular work related event that completed a couple of days ago. The event was a success, but!! the effect it had on me personally, my head and my health and even my loved ones who have watched me deteriorate is not something I ever want to repeat. After taking care of the first priority, a lot of sleep, I'm now watching a number of these uber calming and inspirational Pick Up Limes videos to help me reset. Thank you a thousand times for your wisdom and zen, I feel better just for watching your videos, but I will also put some recommendations in to action going forward. Much love!

I had a situation at work last week where I had a lot of "urgent" tasks and was constantly switching and trying to finish all of them but I ended up being super busy and finished none. Then I decided to calm down and take just one task at the time. I finished only that one, but I felt much better and I was ready for another one after that. Sometimes I manage multitasking well, but in some situations it is beter to take one at the time. It depends on tasks, if they require more concentration or not.
Thank you so much for your videos, somehow they always come at the right moment for me :)

Jasmina Balagija I’m in highschool and sometimes I feel like that when I get 6 hw assignments/projects all at once due the next day. It took me a while to figure out that I need to just take a deep breath, and take it one step at a time. It’s a learning curve for everyone:)

    • @nipunfernando9102

There is no such thing as multitasking, because one can only do one thing at a time anyways. Therefore just proceed from doing the most important & urgent task first & move on to next one after you've finished it.

I compartmentalize, which means I focus on one task at a time. When I’m done ✅ with a task I write it down, which leaves me with a done list. So satisfying to read what I’ve accomplished each day. Also each day I pick only one or two priorities that I want to complete that day. Usually I complete the priority task(s) and have time for others that present themselves. Much easier to accomplish tasks this way. No use putting pressure on yourself to write long lists of tasks that never end.

I remember when I was younger I used to think that being busy meant that you were really important. Since becoming aware of the impact this behaviour had on what I care about the most I was about to ditch the being busy bit to simplify life so I can enjoy it with the people I love.

Sadia, I find your videos to be very helpful and inspiring. Videos on these subjects are often superficial, but yours never disappoint. Always thoughtful, positive, realistic & concise. In one of your videos you mention the importance of creating a vision board. I have read previously as well how important it is to visualize the success. If possible, I would appreciate a video on this subject - how to create a vision board and how it can help with accomplishing our goals. Thank you!

Hey Sadia! This video was so informative. Thanks to your encouragement to listen to books while doing chores, I could develop a new habit and started with Proverbs chapter 12, through an app called YouVersion. When I across these lines I was reminded of none other than you: The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But a wise man is he who listens to counsel.
Proverbs 12:15 may you keep inspiring us as you listen to counsel!

Thanks for all the wonderful videos and amazing recipes of which I've tried a few. I'm not vegan but love all foods. I'm going to buy a binder so I can dedicate this just for my PUL recipes!! Oh and amazing photography. Your parents must be so proud !!!!!❤️

I am an introvert, and I get my daily office work done in about half an hour. Not kidding. It leaves a lot of room to pursue other stuff. I have to give credit to Deep Work by Cal Newport for this, though. Also, to get work done fast, one needs to build relevant skills, and that process is and should be slow.
