I have a poulan similar to that one, mine is probably older. Anyway I have the same trouble with it lagging so I tried some adjustments and thought I had it licked. Turns out I had it revving too high and the exhaust was melting the plastic shroud after a few minutes of running. So I turned it down a bit and it's actually running pretty good right now. I had better knock on wood because it never fails. Lol thanks for the video
You’ve come a long way, baby! In production values and the lift and ultrasonic cleaner! On another subject, I always do a complete carb kit, even if only the purge bulb needs replacement. I get some with one fuel line good but of dubious quality and age and the other stiff and needing replacement. Or the metering diaphragm is crinkly and the pump diaphragm only has a little depression formed. My thinking is, I want to send the equipment with a new baseline so the next time it comes in I know how it was when it went out. Also, any unreplaced parts will only need replacement sooner. Of course, since I’m already in there why not save the customer some $ by doing the whole thing at once rather than risking a comeback? I also always pull the adjustment screws and run the carb through the ultrasonic even if it looks clean. Better that than get it all back together and it’s not running right because of one tiny speck of debris in an orifice somewhere.
Great job. You’re correct about it lagging. It sounds good. Take care.
Thanks, you too!

Glad you got it figured out. 👍
I have a poulan pro whopper snipper and love it 😊. That blower runs good now. 👍
These older Poulans are not pro quality, but they do work fine for the average homeowner. The newer ones aren't built as well
Made it look easy. Thanks
Thanks for watching
Thank you

A full kit would have been ideal, but it worked fine for this blower. It never came back with a problem.
