Thumbs up #100😁 Great instructional video as this was part of my problem. The throttle at idle now is weird and you started to make adjustments at the end of you video..but ended the video without expanding on your final fuel / air = best performance. Did you adjust the carb??
@@TheGreasyShopRag got around to the rebuild today. Sure enough, that red manifold boot was cracked and the reason I was chasing air/fuel settings. New boot installed and some small carb adjustments - working great!
Your Absolutely Right I’ve Seen That Boot Sooooo Many Times Just Break Apart Like an Old Rubber Eraser 😎😀👍🏼 Also Those Pesky Fuel Lines That End Up In The Screen In The Carburetor Too 😩😩
@@steveriggenbach90 Mine were purchased years ago from a company called HalHen. I think they are no longer in business, I have seen them listed by a company called Oak Tree Products which is a hearing health care supply business and the tool is used for tygon hearing aid tubing.
Nice video. Informative and your voiceover is paced nicely. Subscribed!
Thanks for watching!
At least it's a fairly easy machine to work on. What are those fuel lines made of, silicone?
Seems that way but not sure.

The adjustments done on the bench are usually just to get it close. Final adjustment is done outside, under load if possible.

That primer bulb was looking pretty brittle. I have reversed needle nosed plier type Tygon tube expander tool.
Where did you find it?

@@rooster3019 thank you. I’ll check into it.
I think I may have just the donor pliers that needs to be ground down for this task. Thanks!
What type of gas do you use
Premium non-ethanol
Did they say … well it ran last time I used it. For those finicky lines I use a cheap hair dryer.
It always ran last time you used it! Like finding your keys in the last place you looked. You don't continue looking 🙂
Po-lun, no poo, come on bro!
Pullin! always lots of pullin'.
@@TheGreasyShopRag Crap, luv your vids!
@@MrsSunshine75 Thanks for watching!
This just happened to me. Replaced fuel line and return line. After I realized the impulse line was deteriorating as well. Had a nice split in it.
Yep. Common problem it seems. thanks for watching!
Too bad you didn't make the video long enough to show how you adjusted the carburetor to styop the bogging.
