Looks like this is one of those creeks as well lmao. It’s so much like Dunkard creek by where I live I catch 5 lb plus smallies and 45+ inch Muskie in the same day it’s amazing. Well that doesn’t happen everyday but I have done that a lot there. Love it. Keep it up.
I fish a small creek called Dunkard creek in southwestern pa and in the early summer I wet wade it and smallmouth fish but I catch Muskie all the time there too. My biggest one out of there is 46 inches but I lost a 50 + incher in there last year on a small squarebill fishing for smallies. It’s got a ton of Muskie in it and it’s a gem 💎 of a creek. There aren’t very many creeks like this in the nation I can’t imagine but it’s a small creek with deep holes spread out but incredible Muskie Fishin
I musky fish cave run lake in KY. all the time you need to come down here and fish for them , they have been 50” plus caught out of here , very well known for musky , check it out. Be safe and God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Congratz on your win. Listening to your voice I hear a strong confidence tone in your voice now. You will have many more wins coming up. I’m selling my yak because the design of my yak will not allow me put a 3hp trolling motor on the transom; only a side mount with 1/2 the hp. On the 22nd of 2023 a Dallas show that Carrie’s Hobies is having a demo day. I’m driving to Dallas to put my butt in the Hobies to see what I want. Looking at the PA 14 180 & PA14 360. I reviewed your video comparing the two last night. If you have suggestions please let me know. I will be putting the large toqeedo on it. I have a new Wilderness RECON 120 HD(never been in the water) I will be selling. Truly never been wet. I plan to deck the Hobie out. I’m very proud of you, as an angle ethics, skill, and imagination, do what very very few women have done. Living on the road over half the year(at least), is a very tough life at times. Thank you for your quality videos. We all love ya….all that I know do. 😂❤ Larry Moss
muskie fishing , old fav know where the monster's are on the susquehanna and its way north, not quite sure its a kayak thing though would be epic , being my 14ft john boat was pulled a few miles. and it wasn't much smaller than the boat. had that guy several times couldn't land him.
So much to love about this video... first off congrats on your Kentucky Lake win. Love your style, your enthusiasm and your respect for the fish. Glad you mentioned the revival method as I’ve never thought the back and forth action was the right way to go on Northerns, just hold them and let them recover in an upright position. Beautiful Muskie Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Hey Kristine. I apologize if you mentioned this in the video, but how long was your float? Did you have to peddle back up the way you came? I have a solo Minnesota river trip coming up, and just trying to collect as much info as possible to better plan ahead. Thanks!
Canoe or Kayak....while fishing for musky which might be easier to fish out of? I have a lot of small rivers which hold good fish, managed a couple small muskies, but a lot of water is inaccessible in waders :(
I do the same here in Brazil, my best moments in kayak are those when I feel that I am the only human been on in a huge river, paddling for hours whitout having even a possible place where to dock.
Congratulations on winning the tourney! I have a question, if you dont mind answering. I am a saltwater angler from Texas. I will be fishing the Madison WI area the middle of September (family trip). If you had to choose one fall musky lure, what would you pick? Thanks in advance!
Gosh that’s a loaded question- truly that depends on forage and water- if I’m fishing up north in the fall I’d probably go with a chaos Medusa (regular) or llungen DC9 (blades)
@@kristinefischer2289 ah, the medusa. I bought 3 medusas last year and lost all three of them 💀😭. Lost $80 in 2 hours. I am approximately on 7k or so casts, almost there! I appreciate the info! I'm gonna try some saltwater lures like the 9in spoolteks as well. I will buy the lures you recommend! Thanks for the swift reply! Awesome videos btw!
I would like to see you treat yourself to a south florida trip and do some peacock bass fishing. This is on my bucket list to do on my yak . Great video !
Great video! What would describe as your top rod for kayak fishing? I currently use an 8ft heavy/fast mojo muskie paired with the tranx 400. Just curious to see the length and density of rods others are using out there. Thanks 😊
Nice work...you said you were gonna catch'em. BTW....thanks for the reply about rod set up's/review on one of your other videos (ill be on the lookout), and Congrats on the Kentucky Lake Win. There are HUGE opportunities for women in the fishing industry, I hope you can capitalize on it!
I know I’m late but big congratulations on the win!!! I just discovered your channel I love it!! I can see how passionate you are about what you do. Good stuff 👍🎣
that was huge...never caught a musky..yet ;) ...I will be fishing a little more in the St.Lawrence river...hopefully one will bite. With this Corona Virus, we are confined to stay in our respective cities unless you have a reasonable reason to go out. There is a little water hole near where I live... tried it twice with no success but 2 different guys told me there is huge pike in there which surprised me since its not deep at all. Water is still wayy cold though. I'll try it again when it'll warm up.
I've never seen you before and I caught your video on your favorite musky lures. You practice what you preach on what you were using. Congrats on your bass tournament win. Don't no much on the kayak circuit started out fishing in small flat bottom not going back worked my way to lund pro v not going back to small. Seems to work for you. Wish you the best of luck but in your case skill is more the word. Great video.
New subscriber here! Excellent video! Congrats on your recent win! I was sooooo hoping that muskie would have hit while you were figure eighting.. I've never actually seen someone get one while doing the figure 8.
Does your husband know how lucky he is. A beautiful wife that loves to fish.you should get him closer to you on the tube when you can. My first wife was beautiful also go fishing at the drop of a hat. She would often plan trips and tell me when were leaving. I loved her so. Congratulations. Nice cat catches. Have always enjoyed your post.
