- American girl has made so many dolls over the years, but here are the most unique ones. So many of their dolls tend to look like other ones- Kira and Julie, Kanani and 79 etc. But here are some dolls that don't look like any other doll AG has ever created. This could be because of a unique wig, eye color, facemold or hairstyle.

I have truly me 62 and I LOVE her so much!
I have all of them except for the doll with the hot pink hair- I also think truly me 26 is super unique because she has a medium skinned Addy mold with gorgeous amber eyes!

I have 4, 49, 57, 58, 80, 88, 89, 90, 91, and Joss, I agree they all are very unique dolls. I would add 26 to the list. Nanea, Marie-Grace and Caroline are on my wish list.
I personally would love to see the #4 head rereleased. So many modern-day girls are too young to remember when #4 was available.

I own 49 and Nanea. They are sisters and my favorite dolls ever! I really don't get why people needed time to get used to Nanea. She's the prettiest doll ag has ever created!
Your GOTY 2009’s (I actually can’t remember her name but I think it starts with a C.......) outfit is so cute! I love unique dolls because they are the ones that are a lot pretty! I have a Melody (she’s my profile pic!) and I really want a Nanea! I don’t really like the Mary grace mold but her hair is really pretty!

i kinda pride my collection for being unique, my collection is pretty small but over half of it was on this list (caroline, 58 and nanea!) definitely a few of my wishlist too, like melody and 49... i love them! great video ☺️

My first ag doll was a number 49, i named her sadie. i was heavy into the ag community from 2010-2014 and recently got back into the realm. i am learning so much that i didn’t know as a kid in the world of ag. i was assuming that my 49 was just not a doll that many people had in their collection because i haven’t seen it in many collections since i got back in. I MUST agree with you, i feel that she is truly unique and i am proud to have her in my collection, although my younger self cut her hair into layers😭. Thank you for adding her to this video and highlighting how awesome she is, because she has been my lil gem forever.

yesss 62 is the best! I’m so happy I got her before she retired because she’s beautiful! I also really like all the other dolls you mentioned, however I don’t have very many of them unfortunately!
Oooh I love these picks! I’ve wanted 58 for a long time, she’s super unique!
If you order one check her hair when you get her. The first one I bought had totally messed up hair because they pull it back off the forehead to put the hairnet on it. That messed up her curls. I ordered a second one and the two front (bangs) curls had to be recurled because they were messed up, too, due to the hairnet and off the face packaging. It wasn't hard to fix (didn't want to order a third) but just beware.
I just wanted to say that the doll you used in this video is so cute! Number 49 is one of my dream dolls and I hope that I get her soon. Also I like the name you gave your 49 because it is so unique! I have a Melody doll and I do not regret getting her at all! This video was so fun!

I think they are unique… but there are a few of them with just variations of the mold and eye colour. If they only had one she would be on this list
Chrissa and #49 are so unique in my opinion not because they are retired but because their brown hair and bright blue eyes are a beautiful combination that I haven't seen many dolls with. I also really like making my collection unique so this video is helpful 💞

My #49 is named Grainne after the Irish pirate. I think she is so beautiful. I have a Marie Grace as well, she's the only doll I have that doesn't have the classic mold. #4 is on my wishlist, she's really expensive online though.

This is I really cool video !! I used to HATE nanae now because of agprimrose’s custom look like I would really like her but o would like to switch the wig. I think addy is a really unique doll because of Ag not using the face mold. I got a truly me doll when I was little and 22 and 27 look so much alike I don’t know which one I got 😂😂

I actually had something about you in there too, about how you should have gotten that cheap Kaya custom but I cut it out in editing. I can only call out one friend per video

While my #22 is similar to #27, her hair is just below her shoulders. Not a lot of dolls have that hair style. She also has lined eyebrows. I don’t know what kind of eyebrows #27 has. I do have #91 and #89. I think those dolls are really cute.

I just prefer the original dolls that were around when I started collecting in 2010. Instead of retiring the older dolls, Mattel should add more accessories to each collection and make limited edition outfits.

I think there is another doll that didn't make it into this video. Truly Me #15 has been retired for a long time, and I haven't seen a lot of people with her. Yes, she's white. Yes, she has the classic mold. But she's a white doll with textured hair. I have wanted this doll for so long and I still do not have her. I feel like nobody knows she exists, but she's so unique and beautiful.

I use the computer software Final Cut Pro. It does cost quite a bit of money, but it was a good upgrade from iMovie after using it for 5 years

Just a little correction- I have a doll with the hearing aid you can get from AG and it is removable! it has a piece similar to their earrings that goes into a hole in front of their ear, and the actual hearing aid goes on that. It looks cool on the doll, but it is much bigger than Joss's and I definitely prefer hers! :)

I do… but mine has permapanties so make sure yours doesn’t. Her wig is super smooth and easy to take care of. Just brush it and when necessary, use foam rollers and water to recurl the waves
