- I don't have a Lathe, unfortunately. However, I do have a bench drill and a angle grinder. Can they do the job?

Great! Love that you show work using "ordinary" tools. Most of us don't have a high end workshop, so your videos are very useful!
Glad you liked it, thanks for the positive feedback!!!
Clever idea to put the grinder in the vice like that, thank you for sharing! 😊
I did something similar just recently. Needed a turned part to make a 1" fan shaft fit a tube bigger than itself. So I built up a lot of weld on the end that needed it and ground it smooth using an angle grinder and hydraulic motor turning the part. It's jank, but it fit
Smart 👍 Being able to fabricate parts with the tools at hand is just great. Environment friendly, cost efficient and often time saved!
The trick with the drill press and the grinder is awesome! It's going to be very useful for me, thank you sir.
Great, glad to hear it! 👍 I have used this method several times lately, and it is possible to create decent parts. Not the same precision as with a lathe, but definitely better than nothing 😊
It's genius! Can't wait to try it! Thanks for sharing!@@kihestad
Very useful and genius ideas of angle grinder, save a lot of money for buying a lathe. Thank you very much for sharing this!
Great! Loved that the video could be of help! 👍
Well done sir! Headed out to the garage now :)
I have to admit, I have bought a lathe since I made this video 😬 but I have used this method several times, and you can absolutely get a decent result
wow what a method, i feel this is going to help me out a lot in my current project which i am stuck on, thanks a lot
I have used this method several times. It's quite OK as long as you don't need absolute precision. I have however bought a mini lathe recently, so I have stepped up a notch 😊
Thanks for a great idea 😀
Thank You sir for the good ideas on machining without a lathe. Have A Great Day!
Glad you liked it ☺️👍
Amazing. I am bored right on this rainy day. I think I am going to make one....just for fun !!
Go for it! I suggest you read all the comments on my video first - you will get a lot of additional tips to make it even better than mine 😁

At first, when I saw you in this Video, I was thinking "Cool, Satan makes UA-cam Videos". You look like Mark Pellegrino, who played Satan in the show Supernatural, no you can boast to you friends and saying, you also are an actor ;)
Hey, really - in that case: that is cool 😈 I need to check it...
Nice beautiful intelligent etc.
Thanks 😊
Turning without a lathe!
*Makes vertical lathe
Hehe, valid point 😬
lateral thinking at its best. WOW
You got to use what you have 😊
Can do with out the damn annoying loud music
Too late for this video since it's already made and published, but my next video will be without music 😔
