- This livestream is part of my 'live' series where I show viewers life in Washington DC in real time. I often explore different neighborhoods by walking inside stores, restaurants and other businesses.

The tour of the Mayflower was great !!! The Willard on Pennsylvania Ave is an other historic hotel you might have time to visit! One day this covid will pass and cities can get back to normal. ... It's sad to see everything so empty 😭
I really like your walkabout video. It seems to keep popping up inbetween other vids that I watch. My main thought is YOU sure have the gift of the gab !!!! And I like your accent. You EXPLAIN everything so well!!!! It's 4.15am in Johannesburg, South Africa. Rise and shine time in this country , or should I say shop and business hours would normally begin at about 8.30 in the morning. It's midsummer here now, but past two weeks been having rather unusually damp and more than average rainy weather....something weird going on with weather patterns on our eastern costal Indian ocean front, I think?
What a great video of the most beautiful American city. I'd like to see Pennsylvania Avenue and some other major thoroughfares have lanes of traffic closed and have more trees added in former traffic lanes. This will occur on the Champs Elysee.

What camera are you using, a mirrorless type still camera or a dedicated vid camera on a gimble? You've given me the idea of me walking my city of Johannesburg, to show the world the putrid filthy place it's become. People who remember what it was prior to 25 years ago, won't believe the dump it's become.
I am using my iPhone 12 on a Gimbal.

I've been a commercial photographer since 1971 (Now retired) I obviously use digital cameras today but am always amazed at what digitization has brought to the world. Who needs a videographer or photographer these days? hahahahaha Everyone a videographer or photographer with their cell phones. You have an amazing brain, and hence the "gift of the gab" being able to give an ongoing commentary to your videos. Without the commentary the videos would be fairly meaningless. Wonderful work you are doing !!!!
