- This livestream is part of my 'live' series where I show viewers life in Washington DC in real time. I often explore different neighborhoods by walking inside stores, restaurants and other businesses.

The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception near Catholic university is one you would enjoy , it's one of the largest churches in North America , full of crypts, side chapels !! The Cathedral of St Matthew in Dupont Circle is also incredible and worth a visit !

According to the author of this channel, it's because of the Jan 6th riots, but upon closer examination, it's a prison!
If I'm thinking of the right VOA it was illegal to be broadcast in the US until more recently until refugees in Minneapolis requested they could still listen to it. Although not sure of the details.
