I bought the Butalina one and will start seeds soon. I also bought the Pomodoro and it already sprouted, so excited to try them.

I need to start paying attention to Etsy stores and if they have UA-cam/Website lol. Glad I found your store leading me here, great video about different Italian tomatoes!

Welcome to my channel! I don't really notice many stores mentioning they have UA-cam channels. It works great for me so I can provide better instructions to my customers. My direct website has more stuff than my Etsy shop and at better prices.

I love your content. I order some tomato seeds from you. One thing though I was pretty sure Tomatoes are native to South America. Colonizers took them to Italy. But I might be wrong. 🙃

Hi Thanks for your support. Your absolutely right. Tomatoes originate from South America and were spread around the world. From there, they were bred into all sorts of different varieties. When I say "this is an old Italian heirloom tomato", I mean its a variety that was bred and is predominantly grown in Italy.

Have u grown Tranese tomatoes before?
Traditional sauce recipe calls for 3 varieties:
    San Marzano
    Tranese
    Cherry

I have a big food garden and tomatoes are the main reason I have it! I love tomatoes but it’s taking me lots of trial and error to figure out which ones I like best. So far my favorite cherry is Sungold, my favorite slicer in my garden right now is Mortgage Lifter and the best paste tomato is San Marzano but next year I’m going to try Amish Paste because I have hope that they will be larger. I really like Green Zebra tomatoes but haven’t been able to get the correct seed for four years now! This year I grew what was supposed to be Aunt Ruby’s German Green but it is not the correct seed! I’m getting so frustrated with buying seeds that aren’t what they are supposed to be, it has happened so much the last few years 😫

Tomatoes are my favorite thing to grow even though its probably the hardest crop to grow here in Florida. I have grown Sungold and Sun Sugar and they are by far the most delicious ever. Just wish they were not hybrids. Mortgage Lifter didn't grow so well for me. But that could just be my garden. I'm growing San Marzano Redorta strain this season so cant wait! And I have grown both Green Zebra (it had a weird acidic taste to me) and Aunt Ruby's German Green is an awesome meaty tomato.

I’m frustrated with Cesare’s Canestrino di Lucca tomatoes. Granted I started them later than the rest of my seeds but they were very slow to germinate and had stunted growth requiring more time to get them to a plantable size. They finally took off and are five feet tall but no flowers. I’m fertilizing weekly alternating with Neptune’s Harvest Tomato/Veg and Rose/Flower mixed with Azomite. Watering daily since they’re in grow bags. I want to try them again this fall. Any suggestions?

Wow. Amazing tomatoes! Are you harvesting them in the middle of August in Florida? My tomates are long gone, since mid July. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
