  • A video tutorial on how to remove and replace the cabin air filter on a 2013 - 2013 Ford Escape.
Replacement cabin air filters for your Ford Escape can be purchased here amzn.to/3EHUTQ8
WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE THE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR FORD ESCAPE?
It is recommended that you replace your cabin air filter every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year. However, you may want to replace or change the cabin filter in you Ford Escape more often if:
-You or a frequent passenger suffers from allergies or has other respiratory problems
-You drive your Escape on dirt roads or in an excessively dusty location
WHAT IS THE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR FORD ESCAPE?
Cabin air filters, also know as A/C air filter, help enhance the air quality inside your vehicle creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for you and your passengers. A properly functioning cabin air filter, or ac air filter, can stop up to 90% of dust, pollen, and spore particles from entering the Ford Escape passenger compartment location.
WHERE IS THE CABIN FILTER ON YOUR FORD ESCAPE?
The cabin filter is located underneath the glovebox. The cabin filter access panel will need to be removed in order to access the cabin air filter.
This video tutorial can be used to help find the location of as well as remove, change or replace the cabin AC air filter on the following Ford models:
    2013 Ford Escape
    2014 Ford Escape
    2015 Ford Escape
    2016 Ford Escape
    2017 Ford Escape
    2018 Ford Escape

I just changed the filter in my fiancé’s Escape. The filter that was in the car was backwards. Your video was not only helpful in showing where the filter was, but also in determining which direction the filter was supposed to face. Not really sure what the difference it makes since there isn’t a support on one side, but I did it right. Thanks!
