I'd never heard of the Drakensberg before you started making videos from there, but its clear from videos like this why you keep going back. Great to hear you have more videos coming as well (which I'll try and watch within 24hrs ;-) lol )
Absolutely incredible! I am so delighted to watch the video. Thanks for making and sharing Alex! As always there is so much I learn only just watching your amazing videos! Well done!
Great video, Alex! There’s something magical about seeing the peaks emerging from the clouds and catching the light. Looking forward to seeing the upcoming videos (can’t believe you camped on top of Cathedral Peak!!)!
Another great video Alex! What an incredible location with fantastic light and conditions! You'd captured some wonderful shots. Oh, and nice to see Adam in there enjoying the trip! Keep up the good work. I'll look forward to the next videos. Cheers.
At the beginning of the video, I thought 'Misty Scotland Again'. Just kidding great video and photos of a unique place. Not the place to wander around on a foggy night. Quite a drop off 😲🪂
Really beautiful video Alex, was spellbound all the way through! Was wondering, what camera did you use for the footage? And did you use a LUT? Colours are stunning!
Thank you! It’s all shot on a Canon R5 in C-log3. Colour correction in Davinci Resolve, but I use color management, not LUTs (which are much harder to work with)
When you told me to stand in front of the green screen I didn’t realize we would be in the Drakensberg 😎
You can be anywhere you want to be!
A M A Z I N G breathtakin’ scenes….keep living the dream up there… i’ll keep watching it…. wauw❤
Fantastic, Alex! Even Karin gives you a thumbs up 😉
I didn’t know I was trying to achieve that accolade but now I’m glad that I have. 👍

Always inspirational. Thanks Alex.

Superb images Alex, it’s great to see something from locations less well known to U.K. photographers
Thanks Colin

Was wondering if we were going to get videos from your workshops during your month away 😁 looking forward to watching this and seeing more
Only this one from my actual “workshops” per se. The third trip was with friends though, so I was free to Vlog away!

Yes it’s certainly not short of big drops!
Lovely video, Alex. Shame I did not know about your great wilderness workshop has gone live, missed it this time.
I’ve actually had a cancellation for that trip. I’m waiting to hear back from a couple of people on the waiting list but there *might* be a spot

Nice! And you got to sleep in to 4am. 😂
Yes, shorter days in March do make that a little easier!
