Exciting time to be an Aeros user. This is a major update. Over two years ownership for me. Have seen a lot of performers, usually soloist’s, with the Beat Buddy, Aeros and Midi Maestro on their boards. One guy said “it changed his life!”

Watched half the v video and pulled the trigger. THIS is what a looper pedal should be. I have high hopes. Every looper I have ever tried has fallen short ...but this has just about every feature on my looper pedal wish list.

Thanks for the feedback! we are aware of it not being super easy to use with the slider, we may have an on-screen improvement coming very soon. Otherwise, you may find it better to use the wheel hands-free to get the value you want. Simply tap right button while the setting’s option is highlighted, and then use the wheel to edit the slider. Tap the right button again to confirm the change.
This is AMAZING. I've been looking for a looper to have these song and backing track functions for YEARS. Finally, a looper that you can create your own custom backing tracks in song forms for practice and performance!

Lots of thinking while playing... Playing music will become a secondary task, hopefully you remembered all of the presetting, while always in how to control mode... With just a button to record play and overdub you're easy to go
The only thing I don't like is that the Tempo slider on the Aeros Gold does not have the minus or plus box option like the old Aeros... The Tempo is very sensitive on the slider, and I can't get it where it needs to be. It's VERY FRUSTRATING! If I'm missing something, or is there an easier way to change my Tempo, please help...
excellent video/tutorial. There is one thing I am always missing. The looper has so many functions and possibilities to be connected, but no tutorial/video exist about what cable is used to connect what switch. Do you use balanced or unbalanced for what connection. Not all of your customers are pros, therefore it would help to clarify this insecurity.
Why was the Aeros level meter moving when you were talking? Were you mic'ing the guitar? I see this would cause a problem with singing if you have it set up this way obviously.
I just purchased mine about a month ago I don’t suppose there is a way to swap these buttons out for something quieter? I had hoped to use this for vocals, but these foot switches are kind of loud Can they be swapped out for the new switches?
Unfortunately, we had to redesign some of the other elements of the Aeros to make the silent buttons work on the Aeros Gold Edition, so the original Aeros buttons cannot be changed to the new version.

for the life of me i cannot find which setting allows the REC button to return to PLAY instead of OVERDUB while recording. i now have to press twice to get to PLAY. any help with this is much appreciated!.
I simply NEED the ability to control the speed of loop playback. If changing the loop's tempo also changes pitch that's fine, but really that variable being independent would be highly preferable. Not having this feature has kept me from purchasing the aeros for like 4yrs now, when I was told by you guys I should just order one and wait for an update cause it was on your to-do list. What happened??? 😔
Hey there, we are aware of the importance of this feature for many looper artists, and we understand that it would be a fantastic addition to the Aeros feature set, but at this time, it does not seem feasible since it is not an easy change and it may not actually work, we are still open to it however. I'm seriously considering an upgrade from my Boss setup, and this firmware update seems to make it real! Just one thing is not clear to me: I would use only free form mode, live looping and no click track. When I'll go to the next song part to record a new section, will it be quantized to the first I recorded or it can be a free form again? Basically I'm coming from Boss RCs single mode - unsynced tracks, and I like to do the same, plus multiple tracks for each song part and a pedal that won't crash or freeze every other gig... :)
Hey Jack, if you are in freeform mode and you start recording a new song, the whole song will be set in freeform mode, so each song part will be in freeform as well. You cant have different song modes in one song. Hope this helped!
Hey there, every Aeros update can be downloaded on either the Aeros Loop Studio or the Aeros Loop Studio Gold Edition. They are exactly the same, with the only difference being the footswitches.
As far as a computer editor, if you save the songs on you Aeros to your SD card, you can transfer those song files to a DAW where you can further edit the files. Thank you. Pardon my weak English :) You didn't tell me the most important thing. In real songs, a verse doesn't last a couple seconds. It can be 16 bars long, for example. When performing a song live with guitar, I can record the guitar verse on the looper. But, then I need to sing the chorus and record it as the next section of the song, instead of listening to the whole verse over and over again, waiting for it to end so I can finally start recording the chorus. You are experimenting with very short sounds. If the instrument is designed for songs, how do you make a recording without listening to it again? So, can I continue recording the chorus without stopping and re-listening to the whole verse again? I want to include listening to the recorded verse later, in my own time, according to the intent of the arrangement, not forced, as the looper will tell me. What do you say? It's a very obvious need, isn't it?
If I understand you correctly, what you're saying is done easily through the Aeros. After recording the verse you just click "Next Part" which starts recording the next part (chorus) immediately without listening to the verse again. You can then select the verse part to play next. 2 tracks/2 parts in 2x2 mode. 6 tracks/6 parts in 6x6 mode.
Just arrived. Already driving me insane trying to update firmware. Issues connecting to WIFI. Connected, but No Server. Nowhere does it mention "No Server" on the site...or internet. (I think.) Tried to use SD Card. No go (about to try again). Connected to Hotspot on phone and it did download and confirm delivery of package, but now at about 30 minutes of the boot screen.

Hey there, although the Aeros does not have an XLR in/out, you can easily use a mic by connecting to a mic preamp. We are big fans of the Rolls Mini-Mic Preamp
Hi, my aeros arrives tomorrow. I'm very excited. Is it possible to implement a pre recorded soundfile (With midi controller on my pc) into a loop? For example my section A of the loop is guitar part, and section B is pre recorded Piano part, but in a loop format. Is it possible to connect these two parts in one loop?
I just want something like this for running prerecorded backing tracks with click in the right and tracks in the left. Is this something that can do that while easily changing tracks live? I used to midi control MainStage from my helix but would love a unit that does all this in one.
The Aeros Loop Studio does not have a built-in feature to split the audio for backing tracks and click tracks into separate left and right channels. However, you can achieve this by creating stereo backing tracks with the click track panned to the right channel and the music panned to the left channel using an audio editing software on your computer before importing them to the Aeros. For more information on using backing tracks with the Aeros Loop Studio, refer to the Aeros Loop Studio: Manual (pg. 80), and check for the firmware 5.0 update details.
Can I customize the midi Maistro to stop record the Aeros looper? I am considering buying one since I primarily use my pedal board as a table top. I added my Aeros looper to my pedal board but there is times where I am on the other side of my studio ( away from my pedal board )and have a need to trigger my looper.

Yes, long holding the button on an undone or partially undone track (which is also a method for undoing) will redo the undone layer(s). It can also be done via MIDI. In a future update, it will be possible via the slideout as well (currently, only undo is available in the slideout)
This has now been updated to be able to undo a recording that has been commited by using the slide out menu or you can undo a recording that hasn't been committed by changing the settings on your Aeros to be able to press the start/stop button to undo!

Yep! You can download any firmware or future firmware onto the Aeros Gold or Aeros Standard. The only differences between the two are the switches.

Regarding with the backing track Features. Any app you can recommend to convert MP3 files to Aeros required WAV Files?

Thanks for the kind words! All Aeros audio ports are unbalanced mono. The aux in/out is stereo. Hope that answers your question!

The ol' turn off and turn back on seems to have corrected it. When in doubt, turn off and back on.

When you press ALL STOP do you have to wait till the bar ends to hear the "stop"??
The same question when you mute a track. It doesnt mute inmediately
You can change the stop setting on the Aeros to either stop at the end of measure, end of loop, or immediately!

Absolutely! You can record in freeform, autoquantize, or fixed tempo.

Nope! Aeros Loop Studio Standard and Aeros Loop Studio Gold Edition have the same software/firmware. Both have the same features available :)
Just quiter switches only - everything else is the same.
If this had at least an 88.2kHz like my clone looper, I would jump in. It's hard to lay quadruple for less in any way

Relax guys. As promised, Singular Sound has not forgotten about us og customers. Just updated my original LS to the latest firmware.
The only difference between the original and gold version are the buttons. Firmware is the same.

This has now been updated to be able to undo a recording that has been commited by using the slide out menu or you can undo a recording that hasn't been committed by changing the settings on your Aeros to be able to press the start/stop button to undo!
Does it do reverse and 1/2 speed?
