Hello. I want to setup my inverter in such a way that it will only provide power when there is no electricity. Otherwise the devices connected to it would be off. Possible?
where is your battery chrging ckt?? when the mains are directly connected to the load, batttery need to charged otherwise how can the battery supply the load .

You have shown the diagram of On-line ups only. Where as in Off-line & Line Interactive UPS (Most common ups used everywhere) it bypasses the mains to Load in case of mains presence (Like Inverter). So Hopefully you do full Research before covering this topic.
Sir i have confusion I studied in 8th class sir is teaching me different between AC and Dc that Ac = ac can be converted into Dc but Dc = never can be converted into Ac But here you are teaching me that inverter convert dc to ac Who is wrong????

We use ups in Pakistan for main supply
Agar main supply yaani ac connection nahi hai sirf saara ka saara Ghar ka load uthane ke liye kya karenge
