I didn't watch this entire video, but I am an electrical engineer. Power factor exists only in alternating current (AC) circuits.
It does NOT exist in direct current (DC) circuits. Power factor is the cosine of the angle between the voltage and the
current (i.e the voltage may peak before the current, or vice versa, creating an angle). The amount of angle is created by
the frequency of voltage and the electrical properties of the wires and especially the load. This is why there is no power
factor for DC circuits, because the voltage is direct, there is no frequency.
