Hey sir, i had a little query, i just build a pc with a ryzen 5 5500 and an amd radeon rx 6600 & a 180hz msi monitor with a 550w power supply... i already have a 900VA pure sinewave inverter which has ups mode too. power outtages are common in my area, would the inverter be sufficient in my case or should i get some extra safety too and if yes then which ? eagerly waiting for your reply...
I am currently using an inverter(luminous icon 1600)+ups(APC 1100va) combo cause even when my pc only pulls 300w to 400w power in full load the inverter alone cannot hold my pc from turning off during power cut while i am gaming. So now the ups holds my pc until the inverter kicks in which prevents my system from shutting down during power outage. I easily get around 4 to 5hr of backup without any issue. My system has a 750w psu along with rtx 4070super and a ryzen 5 7600x.

In the beginning the ups was working amazing and would give me a backup of 15-20 mins for light work and 5-10 min if playing games... But recently, whenever there is a power outage, my computer just shuts off completely without giving me any backup.. What can be the reason??

@kokousic Shifting to a new house, changed all the wires, told the person to ground the wires, have a separate connection for setup. Hopefully will solve the problem :)

With my experience only one thing i will say. Once you use inverter , you will never ever even think about using ups. I have thrown 3 ups before using inverter and now using inverter for 5 years. Its more than worth buying an inverter over ups.
thanx for the video and i have a 850w psu so i opted for artis 1500va model which costed me 8300rs here are some tips IRON Rule :- don't trust the vendor search your pc wattage i basically don't even need 700w but somehow i was asked to go with a 850w psu since i had urgent req i went with it 1 :- UPS and inverter both can be used consider ups like a pc component before you purchase the pc 2:- turn off the ups along with the pc too as ups constantly pull power which drastically raises power bill (not just button power off completely switch it off) 3:- never opt for low standard ups i dont mean brand i mean output w 4:- put ups in a safety net kinda mesh material as ups have openings which ants or water may enter which spoil the ups many high wattage ups have fan so having a mesh wont disturb airflow 5:- be prepared to face issues no ups is perfect everything is dummy as ups batteries have subpar life so expect issues after a year feel lucky if you don't face any in one year 6:- change batteries which can be done locally (if you are out of warranty don't overspend for a new one )
do you recommend using UPS along with an Inverter ? I'm planning to get an inverter which will provide power to my UPS that will provide power to my PC just as safety because of the switch over time and AVR protection etc. I wonder if this can damage my UPS ? @@siliconcrayon it is always better to use ups as primary source for your pc irrespective of inverter or direct plug in .... inverter + ups is also a golden combo but apartments now a days comes with generator so my suggestion is get a inverter under budget and don't spend too much remember at the end of the day your psu quality is more important even if you get top of the line ups and inverter and get a cheap psu it will still affect your pc it is suggested to invest however much you can on psu + ups and last option is pure sine wave ups inverter which I don't recommend unless you are getting one for entire home

yu started right - but later on got lost - inverter me ups mode ka mtlb hi voltage band ko narrow krna hota h similar to what ups does - jese hi voltage ups mode specified voltage see kum hota h inverter bhi battery pr switch kr leta h - the only reason ur PC keeps dying is yu overloaded ur inverter.
Hey is there any issue with using UPS mode in inverter ? I already have a very good UPS but it can't provide longer backups hence I'm buying an inverter with UPS mode (microtek 4000+) it has sinewave and 3.7KVA it will solely be dedicated to my PC, My question is if I can use this inverter to back up my UPS and my UPS can backup the PC just for added safety such as AVR , surges ETC. I wonder if that can damage my UPS or won't ?

I agree. Jab mera system low end tha to inverter handle kar leta tha but after upgrade wo load nhi le pata tha and direct inverter band ho jata tha overload indication ke sath.
UPS & Inverter to hota rahega. Sabse pehle microphone ki "Proximity effect" ki bade mein knowledge collect karo. Mic aise mu mein daalke kiu video banate ho ? boht unnatural sound karta hai. Thoda distance rakkho aur over edit mat karo. Real sound karo.
I have wasted a lot of money over the years on buying different UPSs'. Got fed up with the power cuts and shutdowns and finally went with a Luminous inverter UPS and a 100ah battery. It's been over a year now, not a single power cut. I have a 750w PSU.

@@sixty-nine you connect your PC to the inverter. I use a basic surge protector extension that I have plugged into the inverter and use that to power the computer.

If you need more backup time then go for inverter bro because in ups you have to spend more and backup time is also less

Your home electricity is not properly grounded.
@kokousic Shifting to a new house, changed all the wires, told the person to ground the wires, have a separate connection for setup. Hopefully will solve the problem :)

Bhai mai 750w PSU run kar raha hu 100ah battery par. Even when playing GOW2018, no overloading at all.
Get a 1500va or more inverter and 150ah battery. Luminous is a good option to consider

With my experience only one thing i will say. Once you use inverter , you will never ever even think about using ups. I have thrown 3 ups before using inverter and now using inverter for 5 years. Its more than worth buying an inverter over ups.
thanx for the video and i have a 850w psu so i opted for artis 1500va model which costed me 8300rs here are some tips
IRON Rule :- don't trust the vendor search your pc wattage i basically don't even need 700w but somehow i was asked to go with a 850w psu since i had urgent req i went with it
1 :- UPS and inverter both can be used consider ups like a pc component before you purchase the pc
2:- turn off the ups along with the pc too as ups constantly pull power which drastically raises power bill (not just button power off completely switch it off)
3:- never opt for low standard ups i dont mean brand i mean output w
4:- put ups in a safety net kinda mesh material as ups have openings which ants or water may enter which spoil the ups many high wattage ups have fan so having a mesh wont disturb airflow
5:- be prepared to face issues no ups is perfect everything is dummy as ups batteries have subpar life so expect issues after a year feel lucky if you don't face any in one year
6:- change batteries which can be done locally (if you are out of warranty don't overspend for a new one )
do you recommend using UPS along with an Inverter ? I'm planning to get an inverter which will provide power to my UPS that will provide power to my PC just as safety because of the switch over time and AVR protection etc. I wonder if this can damage my UPS ? (Inverter is a good quality microtek 4000+) with UPS mode in it.
@@siliconcrayon it is always better to use ups as primary source for your pc irrespective of inverter or direct plug in .... inverter + ups is also a golden combo but apartments now a days comes with generator so my suggestion is get a inverter under budget and don't spend too much remember at the end of the day your psu quality is more important even if you get top of the line ups and inverter and get a cheap psu it will still affect your pc it is suggested to invest however much you can on psu + ups and last option is pure sine wave ups inverter which I don't recommend unless you are getting one for entire home

yu started right - but later on got lost - inverter me ups mode ka mtlb hi voltage band ko narrow krna hota h similar to what ups does - jese hi voltage ups mode specified voltage see kum hota h inverter bhi battery pr switch kr leta h - the only reason ur PC keeps dying is yu overloaded ur inverter.
Hey is there any issue with using UPS mode in inverter ? I already have a very good UPS but it can't provide longer backups hence I'm buying an inverter with UPS mode (microtek 4000+) it has sinewave and 3.7KVA it will solely be dedicated to my PC,
My question is if I can use this inverter to back up my UPS and my UPS can backup the PC just for added safety such as AVR , surges ETC. I wonder if that can damage my UPS or won't ?

I have wasted a lot of money over the years on buying different UPSs'. Got fed up with the power cuts and shutdowns and finally went with a Luminous inverter UPS and a 100ah battery. It's been over a year now, not a single power cut. I have a 750w PSU.
How much did it cost ?
