I just got a 2025 Honda Pilot and the Driver Information interface and the 9 inch info screen and it's set up the same way. The video was extremely helpful and gave a lot of detail that is really not explained well in the manual and/or videos provided by Honda. Coming from a 2012 Honda Pilot, the functionality of this newer Pilot is really amazing and understanding it for me is important. I could just drive the car, but I want to understand all the ""bells and whistles'' as they say, and your video "Two Guys and A Ride'' was awesome! Thank you !!!!! Great info! Very helpful. Would love to see one on the elite model. The infotainment screen is the same but the driver panel controlled by the steering wheel is slightly different. I can get the gist, but I’ve been looking for an elite specific video
Thanks for the compliment! We’re glad it was helpful. If we can ever get a hold of an Elite trim level (typically sold before they reach the lot) will try to do one. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2023 Pilot and after a recent rain my front radar sensor (behind the Honda emblem) began erroring out and sending me warnings on the dashboard. Shortly after that, seven different sensors malfunctioned and sent me error messages on the dashboard. I went home and pulled the positive side of the battery to try and reset them…which it did after 30 minutes and a quick drive around the block, but the lane departure warning was now off and I could not figure out how to get it back on again. Thankfully this video showed me that in the home menu I was able to access the safety features and see that the setting was off. I turned it back on and we are back in business. Odd that a little bit of rain started all of this but the Pilot is back up and running again.
does it the band and song title currently playing on the digital gauge cluster screen if youre using apple carplay to stream music with spotify/applemusic?
Great video and big help to me. I have a question about radio settings. I’ve saved FM stations but cannot figure out how to delete saved stations. After I added all my stations the press and hold button disappears.
Thanks for the question. There is not a way to just delete a preset so to speak, however, you can over-write the saved station just by clicking and holding the button down of the station you wish to delete while on a radio channel you want to add. So the new station will replace the older preset. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
There isn’t a separate adjustment for the click in the dashboard. Others are seeing the same issue as you, what has seemed to work for them is the go into the time/date settings in the infotainment screen and turn on Auto time and date. Thanks for watching and hope that helps.
As far as I know, there is no “delete” function for a radio favorites for some reason. To get rid of the current presets you could reset the infotainment system, and that should clear all formerly saved stations out. However you will also lose any driver profiles that you have created. Not a huge deal, you would just have to redo the drivers profiles. To do this look under either general or Vehicle settings in the infotainment screen and scroll towards the bottom, you should see something about resetting the system to its defaults. Press that and follow any directions given on the screen. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the question. My guess is someone programmed the mirrors in a certain position and when you start the car, the mirrors recognize the key fob, or the phone and reset. You can change this by using the driver profiles and setting up a profile for yourself. This will include settings for the mirrors, seat, climate, radio favorites etc. Thanks for watching!
You’re welcome and thanks for the question. It does not have an engine temperature gauge, but it does have a warning light if the temp should exceed the normal zone. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRide - Yes, it’s on. I have an iPhone 12 Max Pro. It doesn’t charge and the dealer told me that the charger doesn’t charge this model only, but they don’t know why not. Strange it is. It does charge other types of phones. I test it out.
@@MoNoK15 there are known issues with wireless charging and the iPhone 12 A quick look through Apples forum shows this. Some have had some luck by turning off their phone and rebooting it, but for some this only lasts a while. Some other ideas to think about, how thick is the case on the iPhone? Does the case the phone is in support wireless charging. I know I had to change cases on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, before I could get wireless charging to work, I got a case that states you can use wireless charging with it, and I have never had an issue since then. Thank you very much for this, I’m contemplating on purchasing the trailsport or the elite model. Unfortunately I still don’t know what I want, but they both look good, and I don’t mind paying the $60,000 for either or.
Your very welcome! There is not an engine temperature gauge unless you have the top trim level. What Honda has done is put a dummy light in that comes on if the engine temp is to hot. Not sure why they do this, but there you go. Thanks for watching
@@andrewlim6187yea a blue temp light appears when it’s cold and disappears once warm and if it overheats a red temp light appears. Wish it had a gauge because I would pull over once I see the gauge moving higher than usual.
I got the new Trlsprt and I was wondering WHY and HOW do we put that dumb app installer in the Infotaiment menu to use? What can I download to this car??
Thanks for the question. The short answer is you can download apps such as radio/navigation/music/podcasts/talk show etc. Not really sure why they put that in as you can run most media/music/navigation/ etc through your phone when your hooked to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, plus even when the installer is used, much of what you can download still comes off the phone. I think it’s just a carryover from the previous generation. So if you don’t use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto then it might be worth looking at, but if you use either one of those (ACP/AA) then I would just stick to using those. Thanks for watching!
I noticed my key fobs are numbered 1 and 2. Settings I change when using key fob 1, don't appear when I use my other fob. Is there a way to make them the same?
Thanks for the question. Yes you can, they are probably set differently under the driver profiles. So 2 ideas here depending on how many keys are set up under the driver profiles. 1. Go into the driver profiles and locate the profile for the key you wish to change and then change the settings to match the other keys profile. 2. If there is only one key under the profiles , verify which one it is, if it’s the one you wish to change then just delete the profile. If on the other hand it’s the profile for the key you like, then create a second profile for the key you wish to change, just make all the same settings as the key you like. Thanks for watching!
When you’re in an audio source there is a “sound”button on the top right hand side of the screen. Any adjustments you can make to sound will be found there. Thanks for watching
Yes but everything except for the sub I can adjust. It’s weird. This is the first vehicle I’ve had where has a sub that you can’t adjust for some reason
Thanks for the question. Did you enable it during bluetooth pairing? I would recommend telling the car to forget your phone, then tell your phone to forget the vehicle. Then start the Bluetooth pairing again, watch carefully on the infotainment screen as there will be a message asking if you want to enable CarPlay, when you get that message, click enable. Then you should get Apple CarPlay to work. Also watch the pop up messages on your phone, as it will most likely ask you questions as well about wanting to use CarPlay with the vehicle. Thanks for watching!
The Pilot has two different sets of dashboards in terms of what information is able to display. On “A” type gauges there is no engine temp gauge just a dummy light that tells you when your over heating. This is what we typically find on the lower trim levels, but on the top trim levels or type “B” gauges you get an actual engine temp gauge on the far left like we see in many other Hondas. Thanks for watching!
