Exceptional Video. There are SO many things to learn going from a 2012 Honda Pilot Ex to a 2025 Pilot EX-L! I was amazed with the technology and all the add ons but this video is very helpful. I have watched it a few times and only 1 day now with the new Pilot, will digest and spend some time, doing exactly what Chris does in this video, except now, i'll have a better understanding of the settings. Honda's video's are good, however having a hands-on simulation and explanation makes it easier to understand. I would like to see a view on the DII and the selector wheels positioned on the left and right side of the Steering wheel, but i'll keep poking around for that, and in the meantime will get these all set and then learn more about the "Selector Wheel'' and it's functionality! Same, the only thing they did is help me connect my phone. The lane departure freaked me out when it started shacking and pulling me back in to the lane when going around a curve. Lol This was very helpful indeed. Time to make some changes.

Thank you for the video, Chris! My mom just switched from a 2013 Honda Pilot to a 2025 Honda Pilot EX-L. Is there any way to turn off the Forward Collision Warning Distance? The thing goes crazy every time she pulls in the garage, and the beep is very unsettling.

Chris , have a 2023 pilot ,, the blue tooth/carplay all off a sudden just stopped working ,, tried everything with disconnecting and resetting on phone , have you experienced any of issues with this ?
This is a hard one to answer without being their in person.. I'm assuming that you have tried deleting the phone from the vehicle and then reconnecting it. another option could be checking for a update on your phone. Now if we are talking more about the Car Play feature. 1) It could be an update for the app or phone. 2) Maybe the cable decided not to work properly now. I would try using another phone to see if the same issue or situations is coming up.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 actually took it to the dealer yesterday, believe it or not there is a feature in the touch screen under “general settings” it’s then located under “system”. Go to factory reset to resest the screen. Once I did that CarPlay/Bluetooth worked again. 👍🏻thx for responding
@@dr.baotran8448 I'm trying to recall where the setting could be because I currently don't have one here to play with. I know that you can adjust the vehicle with the volume knob when navi is speaking but there's also a setting within the System or General settings somewhere.
That's something that I would have to play around with in person to better assist. I would ask your salesperson to assist this with situation. Sorry that I couldn't help
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 Yes i already did that the salesman i had , i found out did not have the proper training so another salesman helped with the issue mostley i will have to learn on my own to figure this all out one day perhaps someone will put up a you tube video to help others !

How do I get the Fuel Range to always display on the gauge cluster of my 2024 Pilot? Any way to completely disable the Idle Stop? Sooo annoying.

That may be the parking sensors in that situation. I have a video sharing how to temporarily mute the parking sensors

Navigation and a compass is on the Touring and Elite trims. also on the new black edition pilots for 2025!

Yes they do for a few seconds while using the powered liftgate button from inside the vehicle.

It doesn't have satellite navigation but you do have navigation through apple carplay and android auto
The higher trims will have satellite navigation
Just learned it is not a Garmin GPS it is now Alpine " ALPS " system !

This version of the Pilot looks like trash. I'd rather get the elite or the trailsport.
