The first academy in the west: Plato's Academy!

Actually, this is a very interesting thing: Plato was trying to overcome the ancient world's skepticism by offering a two-dimensional approach to how we conceptualize. Practically, the same was done by Kant towards Hume's skepticism.

I agree, but since the Forms are knowable, the proper analogue of Kant's noumenal world would be only Plato's Form of the Good, I think.

Forms and particulars appear to “mutually arise” (in Taoist terms) like every inside has an outside existing as inseparable opposites-a unity in polarity: visible from invisible; matter from empty space. Each side defines the other.

Forms are not one of the polarities. Forms do not 'arise' - they are uncreated and unborn - they are beyond opposites. If they did, they would be in the nature of particulars. Polarities (as manifested by the particulars) are generated by the ineffable Forms/Tao projecting spacetime and matter (i.e., emptiness and form) which mutually define each other (Heraclitus's road - union of opposites).

this explains how people speak different languages without ever studying

    • @ambrosemalone1151

No it doesn't. We have what Noam Chomsky says is a gene for grammar and learning languages. People that learn languages are subjected to them. A simple example would be Hispanic children learning Spanish at home but speaking English at school. Same for Koreans and so on....Now if you want to learn languages other than your own, you will have to study and study hard. It is not inside waiting to be opened and if you don't believe me..find out for yourself. I mention languages, the same can be applied to maths. Aristotle who didn't believe in Universals said to Alexander of Macedonia that there was no Royal Road to mathematics!

so in the world of forms Santa Claus is real. the form doesn't change, whether or not there's a physical version. (thought I'd close that loop)

    • @davidste60

No, Santa Claus isn't a universal, he's a phony particular.

@@davidste60 I beg to differ, there is a universal santa claus, but of course there's only one, the one's at the mall and on street corners and children's x-mas partys, of which there are way too many, are the phony particulars, not to mention those horrible Santacon Conventions.

I'm a little bit confused with how matter interrelates with Plato's theory of the forms.

ORIGIN OF MIND OF LIVING BEINGS
It's a matter of natural selection of millions of years in evolution and It occurred mearly from a molecular of epinephrine or norepinephrine, unlike GABA (- " a negatively charged molecular " with no carbon rings ) , due to less number of carbon RINGS, Vs that of serotonin ( 2 carbon rings ), according to my imagination , based on facts in my Research and Observations.
You know " Dopamine " , a neurotransmitter when considering in molecular level, as It lacks a 1 carboxyl group in comparison to the molecule of norepinephrine, just as dopamine is converted into norepinephrine , a carboxyl group is infused with it , resulting in activation
    of alpha adrenergic receptors.
How norepinephrine modulates negative cognitive effects and serotonin.... those Positive,
You may have seen, new born cubs
starting to walk and loving it's mother ,
would It be possible just upon probability ?
What about S. P. Infusion of norepinephrine and it's carbon rings !
What is the combination behind it and carbon rings of serotonin ?
Every chemical compound has it's endemic rethum or wave generated according to variations of ionization energy when excited , and so it's a matter of short circuit , through electro-negativity which executes commands, responding to the rays and waves from environment , inducing Ca+ waves , catalyzed by enzymes and powered by cAMP.
