How healing and refreshing. I am a loyal fan of your channels and an admirer of you and Susie. My wife was in a near-fatal accident a month ago. Believe it our not, you have comforted me during this ordeal. Actually, I'm sure that's no news to you as there are many people in your YT world that feel the same. Even though it is YT, you touch lives in a positive way, like mine. We are probably not that different. I'm an outdoorsman and through your channel nature's healing is accessible when I am not out there immersed in it the way I want to always be. Thank you Luke and Susie, God bless you both
Smart watch Luke ! I had an expensive watch which was so valuable i had to have armed guards and at night i slept with my arm in a safe,It synced with the atomic clock, accurate to 1 second in a million years, dustproof, shockproof, waterproof to a depth of 500 metres, ultra slim titanium casing, toughened glass, diamond studded velcro wrist strap with stereo surround sound,a built in 4 slice toaster and bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with a 10 mile range.Bloody thing caught fire !
My wife's caregiver walked into the study and immediately exclaimed how much she liked the image on the screen at the time: you had highlighted the oranges and blue atmosphere. I explained to her about your professional photography work. Well...I have enjoyed it for years.
Thank you for giving me peace during one of the hardest times in my life. I came across you by accident and will never forget the peace I felt watching your adventures. Thank you Luke, you will never how you helped me.
Ok punk - sorry i mean Mr Punk, drink ya coffee, fold up ya tarp and get out of here - but shhhhhh - do it quietly - crinkly tarps are awfully frustrating both from the emotional and psychological perspective so no wonder i'm rather grumpy wumpykins !
Luke thanks for both of the kind of adventures the verbal and non verbal both are refreshing, and though we are not there you share with us your privates times, thank so very much for your kindness and sharing your woderful wife Suzy who share her adventure it was just as nice and cozy. You the Luke God bless and Suzy-Family.
I understand that people want to watch this without speaking. However you pass on valuable knowledge and generally Make me feel like we're there with your other videos. I'm older and enjoy going with you.
Stella tent: I think the cross bar does not go on the very top at the center of spider poles. The big hook that connects the inner tent is placed on the lower pole at the center. Then you place the cross bar over the little hook that points upwards.
It's weird how the sound of rain never changes. Whether under the tarp, in the tent, out walking, breaking camp, etc. it is the same speed, rhythm, and volume. It appears there has been a pre-recorded continuous stream of overlapping sound. Audio looping.
I mentioned previously that I purchased the Stella tent. I haven’t tried it yet. It looks comfy. 👍🏻 I also tried the Yakisoba with Salmon. Not for me…. 😁
I have noticed in some of your more recent videos that you set up your tent away from your tarp setup. Just curious why you do that. seems to me, it would be better to have the extra cover under the tarp. Great videos, though.
Question Luke, Why do you use your pot to drink your coffee ? I think it would burn your lips or cool off fast, just wondering 😀 Thank you for all the work involved in producing these videos !!!
Hey, it would be really helpful if you could include links to reviews of the gear you featured in your adventure. More exposure to your hard-work and saves us a ton of time looking up reviews on UA-cam.
Because then he wouldn't be able to do a proper rain test on the tent in order to determine if it leaks for his gear, review videos on his other channel.
@@jhlewis10 certainly are not “broadcast safe” reds. ;). Some of the videos show a warm tone to the skin. I can see how that can give a pleasing look at times. But these reds - esp in the tent - are clearly clipping. That’s why I’m thinking his calibration is off and he’s not seeing that.
Ok - I have to ask. Why do all of your recent videos have such a strange teal - blue / green colour cast in the greyscale and such a pronounced red orange bias in the foliage. I realise it’s none of my business how you chose to grade your footage but it’s so far away from what the real world actually looks like, for me personally, it’s really jarring. I was so happy when you started the second channel and was really looking forward to watching without dialog - a lot of the time I just can’t because of the colour. I work with on screen colour professionally so if you think I’m being overly critical or opinionated I’ll fully own that but I just wanted to know whether it’s a deliberate choice or not ? Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this, despite the above comment I do appreciate all the time and effort over the years that you put into taking us into parts of nature where a lot of us never get the chance to go.
If he does that, then he can't determine if the tent leaks or not. Which means you won't be able to give a proper review of the tent on his other channel.
It's supposed to be similar to instrumental or easy listening.like a music channel that has nothing but nature sounds in the background. It's supposed to be relaxing and stress. Relieving, at least that's the intent.😅
Allright. I have to say this. Why even bother to bring a tent if you aren't going to use it. Camping is your profession and how you do it your personal preference. It is so aggravating to see this, I will frequently just end the video. If you are tent testing, it can be understood.

There is nothing quite about this video, mother nature is talking and what a beautiful sound❤❤
I love the sounds of rain! As far as I can remember from childhood, cloudy/rainy days were my favorite and the sounds of thunder soothes me.

Fantastic, so relaxing thank you
I love this!! Rain hitting the tarps - so relaxing 🥱😴
Thank you for giving me peace during one of the hardest times in my life. I came across you by accident and will never forget the peace I felt watching your adventures. Thank you Luke, you will never how you helped me.
It’s almost like watching a Clint Eastwood western: beautiful scenery, lots of action, minimal dialog.

This was my favorite one yet
Thank you Luke!

Very nicely shot and very relaxing to watch bud
I enjoy my quiet places in our noisy world. Thanks Luke.
Great video love the sound of the rain and the wind I find that so relaxing ❤
Thank you, this was so calming I had to watch it more than once. I truly appreciate what you do.
I have never said it, but I love the forests where you go to.
I love this video!!!
The sounds of nature are amazing! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love the idea of the tarp fort. Thanks.
I love my Stella. Good choice.
Well done, as usual. I absolutely love your reviews and your personal expressions such as this. No more words to describe the utmost admiration.
Great cruise! Feel better. Love to Dexter and you boys! ❤❤
Wow orange overload.
what a super convenient root lol
Your videos are always awesome
Looks like Fall. While I prefer snow adventures this time of year rain is very soothing as well.
Nice video in the world of chaos we live in a piece of nature. Thanks
I love the sound of the forest during windy and rainy storms; not in the desert, however. I made some hot spicy chili to go with watching your videos.
I did not know you had another channel! Wonderful!!!
Did You fall again at the end? 😁 I hope not. 🙏 So beautiful video 💙
A little rolling thunder would have made this a perfect camp out 😀
I like the silent but when you talk it make me feel like I am there with keep up the good work
Great video Luke,,, regards Dave in stormy UK
There's 2 things a good rain is good for - sleeping and inspiring u to relieve urself 😂😂😂❤
Love these videos. Did you play with the colors in editing? Those blues and oranges are crazy in a good way! Keep up the great work!
Tarp fortress? Sign me up!
Ha, I finally figured out your knot tying to the root!
1st! Awesome video, as usual.👍

Tarp fortress.😊

He had to fake it. The 2-3 second frame shots are important to the story.
Sounds more like wind to me 🤷♀️
Great video.
It would be even better with the real colour.
Nature does not need enhancement.
I mentioned previously that I purchased the Stella tent. I haven’t tried it yet. It looks comfy. 👍🏻
I also tried the Yakisoba with Salmon. Not for me…. 😁
Would like to see some real camp coffee brewing over the fire sometime with a Perculator, nothing better than a fresh pot of coffee from the fire
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother
Good evening my hometown from Ithaca ny
Hi my friend
When it comes to faking background, nature sounds this takes the cake.
nice video my friends👋🏕️
It was quite until you Wrote you had dirt in your coffee cup 😮
Another great video! I’ve always wondered how you get everything dry again.
You say writing out a storm but all it is it just a little rain 21:58

Maybe you can go camping to, The devil’s courthouse it will be awesome
So many gadgets the camp out of camping
z the
What storms???
😴😴
LOL - The "tarp fortress" looks just like a homeless shelter in San Francisco.
Again, I don't understand why you don't put your tent under your tarp.
Because then he wouldn't be able to do a proper rain test on the tent in order to determine if it leaks for his gear, review videos on his other channel.
How much does your full pack weigh?! You always seem to carry all of the comforts of home. LOL
You could do master classes in audio to UA-camrs.
color is way off... awesome location though. cheers
Agreed. Something has been going on with the red saturation in his color grades. I wonder if there is something off with his monitor.
@@BillSmithBSartist That level of color shift has to be intentional. It is very distracting.

@@BillSmithBSartist Looks like the popular Teal and Orange color grading to me, but with added saturation.
I think the ratistat needs a new hootinator.

Luke how is your wether there
The Video is super. But the Sound of the Wind is not real. 🤔☹️
No - the sound IS real but the wind isn't i think you'll find.
What does ASMR mean
It's supposed to be similar to instrumental or easy listening.like a music channel that has nothing but nature sounds in the background. It's supposed to be relaxing and stress. Relieving, at least that's the intent.😅
Have we seen this before? Just no talking but the same
Possibly
Quiet
If you acknowledge the camera you may as well start talking!
Allright. I have to say this. Why even bother to bring a tent if you aren't going to use it. Camping is your profession and how you do it your personal preference. It is so aggravating to see this, I will frequently just end the video. If you are tent testing, it can be understood.
What's with the orange color tint to his videoes of late? Hidden support for The Orange Man - Donald Trump? (phun intended)
what happened you did not talk
Because he talks plenty on his original channel. This is a no talking channel.
This isnt gear review!
Nope, this is ASMR channel.
Why aren’t you talking????
He talks plenty on his original channel.
Why are the colors so weird? Everything in the forest is blue and orange and your face is red. It looks like some exaggerated Lightroom recipe💁
Why you do not talk anymore? Boring video bro
Different channel; different behavior.
