How come some chinese aftermarket factory can make a bezelless display, but none other have? Not even Samsung who makes the displays for Apple use them in their own devices. Hard to think not one chinese manufacturer would use these aftermarket ones in their models.

Daumier you should take a look at @Charbax his UA-cam channel. I’ve seen lots of Chinese display manufactures I had never heard of before with really advanced displays.

Apple has an patent for all screen displays and after market producer don’t care because Chinese government doesn’t even know what the hell is a patent

Its because Samsung manufactures Apple's screens, not creates them. So Samsung can't just steal Apple's designs.

The explanation didn't really translate all that well, but this is a binned out sample, likely provided as a favor to demonstrate the screen before going forward with a large purchase order. This kind of thing happens during test productions and will generally not make it out of QA.

Haha.. you don't know the issue then... even iphone 8 get that too.... (auto brightness not function normaly). They said it is a bug... i think is not... i am free to repair campain... just google it my friend about face id problem after screen replacement... even that screen is genuine...

The face ID function works normally after screen replacement even with aftermarket screen. It actually relates to the ear speaker flex cable, camera flex, and the face ID flex should be genuine.
