- Life Is Strange: Before the Storm is an episodic graphic adventure video game developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix's European subsidiary. The three episodes were released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in late 2017 and the bonus episode was released for deluxe edition owners in March 2018. It is the second entry in the Life Is Strange series, set as a prequel to the original game, focusing on sixteen-year-old Chloe Price and her relationship with schoolmate Rachel Amber. Gameplay concerns itself mostly with the use of branching dialogues and interacting with the environment. It was ported to Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS in late 2018.

It hurts so much hearing Rachel talking about leaving Arcadia Bay knowing what happens to her. To this day, Before The Storm is my favorite LIS game. Bravo, Square Enix.
I played LiS and I thought it's dramatic i do had no clue haha I mean ok her dad cheated with another woman but it's totally overreacted because of dramatic and the tree burns well I'm curious how it goes on haha

I have read a theory that I loved, they say that Rachel returned in the form of a storm for revenge (according to what I read), and that she gave max her powers to save Chloe

@@kagtunak Absolutely! But also when she was yelling at the fire the wind picked up, I wonder if she had abilities too like Max but was taken before anything ever developed, hence why she came back as a massive storm.
I care more for these two than 99.9% of real living human beings.

I love the fact that Max walks like the introvert she is, but Chloe walks like she gives no fucks about anything.
And also, it´s curious that Chloe never mentioned in the previous game that she hates Victoria too!
I love how Chloe can be really mean and really nice and I'm watching this like it's a show that has a crazy story awesome dialogues awesome character....just the best indie life explanation game

Anyone else realize how fucked up Rachel actually is? Rachel was stabbed and put in the hospital looking for her Mom and immediately asked Chloe to go back and look for her again like she didn't care how dangerous it was for Chloe to go looking.
Rachel wasn't really a good friend. She was uber manipulative, and I think that the reason Chloe is that way in the first game is due to her influence because she was not that bad in BTS.

Omg.. This hurts to watch even more now knowing what happens in LiS. I'm literally crying, my heart hurts to them together, especially the end. When I watched/played the LiS, I was sad over Rachel, but it's now 10x worse after seeing Before The Storm. I'm going to go watch the gameplay for LiS, and it's going to hurt me so much after watching this. Rachel Amber deserved way better.

Chloe and Rachel have such a profound deep emotional and romantic connection. I love that for them. It also breaks my heart so much knowing what happens to them in the future. I love these characters. Also I really like Chloe's edgy punk rock style, and Rachel's. I feel sad for both of them too, they are both dealing with a lot and Chloe... she has really self destructed due to her grief and much more. And I love how her current personality and the personality she had when she was actually happy and full of light go hand in hand and compliment each other in a way, even if they are a bit opposite in a way. And I love them, so much, Chloe and Rachel. Chloe and Max too, I love them. I wish Max actually texted or called Chloe since she left though. I know Max regrets it but it still makes me sad

Some decisions are wierd, but 65% are alright. Only the ending in lis would i do different. If that was him where i wached. But thats part of the game, making choices, everyone makes there own. And it was a good gameplay, sometimes mid because i really was worried by some decisions what happen

The last 10 secs of this video is the most painful. It hurts to see especially after how awesome Chloe and Amber were together. This alone makes me realise that saving Chloe and letting Arcadia rot in hell (in the storm) is the absolute right thing to do. There was nothing but pain there.
