We Broke Down in the middle of Wilderness Areas in West Virginia!

- A West Virginia Wilderness Area is no place to break down, and we broke down in the back side of Spruce Knob West Virginia. Spruce Knob the Highest Point in West Virginia is in Pendleton County West Virginia. But while driving down the back side of Spruce Knob, you enter Randolph County West Virginia. We’ve made many videos in the Spruce Knob Seneca Rocks Recreation Area in Monongahela National Forest. We had a great time in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains, but this could have been worse. You never want to be broke down in the middle of Wilderness Areas!

1st of all I love love love Monongahela. 2nd. I am not surprised about your kind help. I went up there in late winter from Roanoke last year. The roads were clear here. I was thinking I would be fine on the Scenic Highway. I missed the sign that said that they don't plow it all winter. Well, I ended up stuck on the side of the road, but not in the ditch. No service for calling AAA. I was trying to find something in my vehicle for traction ...trying... before I knew it, a kind stranger in a pickup pulled me out with the straps he had handy. I guess they drive around prepared there. Bless they kindness of Monongahela people.

Bill you could of gave me a call. I was in Dolly Sods yesterday and could of came by, if I had cell service(lol).
