I fought pirates on this ship with my Grandad in the early 70's before and after it was (done up). Had my picture taken with a monkey and a parrot on my shoulder and sailed the 7 seas. My Grandad got sunstroke and asleep in our tent (Family sized) a moth landed on him and he thought it was a Seagull. HAPPY DAYS.
England is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, when it's not raining. :) Nice footage, I also have a soft spot for small fishing harbors, don't know why just like em.
Apparently the first replica of the Golden Hind that was in Brixham sunk at Dartmouth in 1987, where it was on its way to for repairs. The present replica is a replacement, which must have been pretty new when I went to Brixham many moons ago in the late80s/early 90s.

Thanks, I arrived there at 05:15 (still dark), this gave me time to set up the phantom , have a coffee and check out how I wanted to approach the filming. It was light enough to start filming at 05:50. Still nice and quiet. Rich.
I know I LIVED there before. Also it was a miracle at 2010-2013 when it actually SNOWED. Also expect late snow during winter due to degrees dropping FAST! Plus I live there before b/c my family is in the military we lived at RAF Lakenheath. I miss living there. A lot of info was left out due to SAFTY PRECAUTIONS AKA raise in SECURITY!

I-I-I had no clue those were still around but to me this is great b/c Sir Francis Drake is one of my really great grandfathers.

I believe the ship is a permanently anchored feature of Brixham Harbour as a museum ship.
