Nope, its not a revamp.... It's just that his voice sounds a bit different in the studio version than in the live performance. Personally, I prefer the live version!
The song has been blowing my mind since the first time I heard it a month ago. Still my No 1. Hoping for Top 5-10 in the final. ŠČ!
I like how he rides the missile at the end. If he does THAT in Eurovision OR has pyro coming from a TRAKTOR, Croatia are going through to the final FOR SURE!
They definitely need a tractor. Preferably a tractor pulling a tank, IMO.

I love seeing people come around on this song. It's really a grower. I was confused by the Dora performance but really like the recording and it gets stuck in my head often. It's a grower, but that won't help them with people who are seeing it for the first time.
I also questioned whether it was a revamp but I'm not sure it is.

Their costumes represent the four horsemen of the ap0calypse - "Glad" (hunger), "rat"(wár), "smrt"(deațh) and "kuga" (the plagūe). However, there is a fifth one they added - HDZ (Croatian Democratic union) represented by the guy in the royal blue jacket. The party is super corrupt but has been in power for most of Croatia's independénce. The blue jacket worn is reminiscent of those worn in the early 2000s by fans of the party

This is a superb ‘rock-opera’ anti-war parody with powerful visuals. Tractor is a reference to Belarus president Lukashenko's birthday present to Putin. In the song Putin is described as a "vile little psychopath", the vocalist represents Stalin, and the guy with nuclear rockets has NINLE on his forehead (word play: Nin-Le=Lenin) and is dressed in monk's outfit, like Rasputin. Insertion of a dominant, sinister, dark Lenin, who came way before Putin, points to a much deeper problem. And those TWO nuclear warheads; after all we all know who dropped the A-bombs! At the end of the video, on the nuclear missile, it is written "pajČu", an anagram; "Čupaj"- pull out. Trajna nina nena’ is Croatian song for little kids; ‘Trajna nina armagedon nona’(grandma) speaks for itself. Mama ŠČ is a metaphor for Mother Russia (ŠČ is a letter of the Russian alphabet, also old Croatian Glagolitic). The Cyrillic letter Shch Щ was derived from the Glagolitic (Croatian script) letter Sht Ⱋ. Coincidently, the sum of letters Š and Č gives Z (25+4=29) in Croatian alphabet, and Z is a military symbol used by Russian Federation to mark their military vehicles in Ukraine.
The chaotic part of the song represents repeating the same mistakes from history, and not learning anything. It plays Croatian alphabet in reverse: Ž(Ж/Ⰶ), Z(З/Ⰷ), V(В/Ⰲ), U(У/Ⱆ), T(Т/Ⱅ), Š(Ш/Ⱎ), S(С/Ⱄ), R(Р/Ⱃ), P(П/Ⱂ), O(О/Ⱁ), Nj(Њ/Ⱀⰺ), N(Н/Ⱀ), M(М/Ⰿ), Lj(Љ/Ⰾⰺ), L(Л/Ⰾ), K(К/Ⰽ), J(Й/Ⰺ), I(И/Ⰻ), H(Х/Ⱈ), G(Г/Ⰳ), F(Ф/Ⱇ), E(Е/Ⰵ), Đ(Ђ/Ⰼ), Dž(Џ/Ⰴⰶ), D(Д/Ⰴ), Ć(Ћ/Ⱋ), Č(Ч/Ⱍ), C(Ц/Ⱌ), B(Б/Ⰱ), A(А/Ⰰ).
Visually, there are a lot of subliminals with multilevel meaning.
Crocodile is a terrible drug popular in Russia, that makes people act like zombies. Guys are dressed in military uniforms but in pink and bright colors and are wearing dresses; making fun of all warmongers and military establishments, proponents of chaos. Side image shows roses sticking out of their asses. Preposterous, or superb description of the present time? Main exclamation is ‘mama idem u rat’- mommy I am going to war, a cry against the forced mobilization, and sending young people to kill each other.
Are we ever going to learn?!

This song and visuals are driving me insane! The melody of this „Mama ….. Schtk“ even stuck in my head for days - so watching and listening to this again can be very dangerous for my inner peace… 😂

No, it's just the thing this song does to you. At first, you are like WTF? And then, as you listen it further, it's starts to unvail all of it's layers...

Interesting , I’m not aware of any revamps, and this sounds to me like the same song it has always been since it was released before Dora so it might actually really be that you remembered it incorrectly since you were overwhelmed by the stage or there are a few sounds in the studio version that you couldn’t pick up on during your first reaction
It is the same song, it was musically complete in the studio, he just didn't noticed many sounds in arrangement wich is cool, because this song gives every new listen - new experience
I think they need to make the live performance clearer, less messy, and easier to understand. I think they should have a tractor pulling a tank on stage. 🚜I think more people would understand what they mean then.
When I watched the live performance I didn't get anything, other than the Hitler moustache (which is actually a Stalin moustache, so I didn't even get that right). Casual viewers will probably be as confused as I was if they leave the staging as it is.
yea i dont know how itll go. i think they will be some confusion. i also think a lot of people love this type of crazy expressionist chaos at Eurovision.
One thing is for sure, and that is that it will definitely get peoples attention

This grows on me a lot. I only hate the 2nd verse which cuts off the rhythm too much
YES i think i know the bit you mean, it does disrupt the rhythm a bit too much. i remember thinking a bit "WTF, dont ruin the momentum youve built up"

I love this song soooo much. Angry punky anti-war song. This is not love love peace peace.... it's a giant middle finger in face of all dictators. Croatia was born out of horrific war, so they know what they are talking about.
Personally... I do love songs that dwelve into deeper issues. Please, let this be in the final

Considering that this was the most dominant winner of any national final, including Loreen, I wonder how viral this will be among the countries voting in this semi, other than Serbia.
Let 3 got 279 points, 2nd place got 155 points. Käärijä got 539 points, and 2nd place got 152 points. I'm bad at maths but I think Käärijä's winning margin is larger than Let 3's.
@@nian60 Given that semifinals this year are televote only, should compare televote scores. Yes, Kaarija had a bigger margin, despite the Finland contest seemingly being more competitive.
I'm starting to get to terms with the fact that this will probably qualify, but still don't like it. I guess it's very intelligent and creative, but it's just not for me.
