I dream of so many things in Eve. But I never do it because I think it can be done in the real world with real world benefits. But the real world is so much harder because anything 'big' worth doing requires the cooperation of so many people. That's where I find myself dreaming of Eve. Cause its easier. Its just not worth my time doing.
the reason why i never bothered to start playing eve, cause its so complex and to do it right, u have to put lot of effort in it ( my type of a game btw ). if i gonna make my mind to do something big, i rather do it in RL instead in the game, where it dosent really matter...
@@pythonxz Oh for sure. One of the challenges I find is 'old vets' don't like to do new things. Like in all sales, there are rebuttals, and this would be an area to test and push though with all that. But in order to do such a thing would require a Marketing Plan. Something I like to do in the real world, but just like in the real world, takes a good amount of effort and coordination to pull off. The 'old vets' are content with what they are used to to go though with the ideas, even though they find them interesting. Frankly, the Eve community was 'less lazy' 10 years ago. Like much of the real world, we are all becoming more lazy. We would rather have our participation trophies then earn them it seems.
Somehow EVE has hit a magical balance between reality and fantasy. It's fun for so many different kinds of people. The dynamic real time simulation game play works great for me. I'm not much of a first person shooter. I like the way flying action is one step away from FPS. Who would have thought that business simulation would have been so engaging as a game. I even enjoy doing that part of it some times.
Thats awesome and crazy! If one invested that much time and effort into RL business would be an actual millionaire in $$. Still awesome work. I fo not agree introducing copy paste from excel, just adding more market botomation.
This is why new players wont actually stay in eve and it will slowly die. When a single player runs 60+ characters what is the point. Multi-accounting. I wonder how many active players there are vs online accounts.

Have you considered that doing it in EVE is a way to test ideas without the issues that arise in real life?

got 2 market chars, with 300-350 orders total and iam making 25-30b profit per month... only 1 hub, how can he make only 60b profit with 15k orders?!?

How can one person update so many orders? Thousands of orders only take him a few hours?
I don't think I could log that many characters, and update the orders in a day. Something missing in the story
