After this null sec focused expansion, one hopes wormhole space gets a big expansion at some point... that doesn't treat them like unwilling collateral damage. 😆😆
Not a J spacer myself, but got the impression most of them wanted CCP to leave them totally alone and not break anything more lol
Null Sec has needed love for a looooong time.
They did touch wormhole with this update. It was one thing and its a nerf. Ask for changes and its 50/50 you get something better or worse. lol

There is so many good changes coming! I only fear some of these changes are going to be buggy from start, so just bear with that till they fix it!

Capital can jump 250km but a normal jump drive can only jump 100km.
Scenario:
Sabre and T3 Destroyer jump into the system.
The carrier is ratting.
They warp to Carrier.
The carrier initiates a jump drive and jumps 250km
The sabre and T3 land at 0
Sabre and T3 can only jump towards it 100km.
Sabre and T3 are 150km away.
Carrier warps away
This works the same if you initiate a warp to and land at 0 on the carrier and it jumps away.

i was thinking how great planets look on low shader settings compared to everything else, i guess this will change in Equinox and they will look really bad on low shader settings now as well. cant wait

The wormhole change isn't going to make anyone who isn't already putting a dread on field do so, and it isn't going to result in more fights because most of the people doing that are in a farmhole and so don't have anyone coming to save the dread/start a fight anyway. I'm all for more dreads and more fights, but this isn't going to work. This has got to be the most ill thought out change since the Surgical Strike resistance nerf, which you had to undo most of because it was such a bad idea...Please drop this idea and come up with something that will actually result in more dreads and more fights instead.
Deleting the cyno inhib from skyhook grid combined with carrier bridges+cmjd is insanely oppressive for smaller scale skirmishes over PI goo. Just horrible implementation of an otherwise great idea.
Cyno inhib wouldn't change that much, same as the anchorable one.... cyno light 300km away or off grid.
Conduit, hmm... large groups already have blops fleets/ titan bridge. This would allow smaller groups (or someone living outside of the main umbrella) to deploy a carrier+ kitchen sink, and this is what a small-ish gang can fight
Personally what I think it's gonna happen is a lot of goo is gonna get stolen without a fight simply because a lot of systems are empty (depending on hour you can AUTOPILOT 20 jumps trough null in a battlecruiser and not die). the 2-jump range notification won't help if there is no one in 2j range to pick up the notification
@@Mic_Glowdon't forget that some space is going to be worthless now if it doesn't have the right mixture of planets in system or nearby to properly upgrade the I-Hubs, making the 2j notification range probably even less likely to be heard in some cases.

Seriously as an Eve account holder of 15+years I look at these expansions to see if there is anything to attract me back to the game. For the last 4 or 5 years I will only buy game time when its on offer. i would regullarly buy it when it was £10 but CCP put it up to £15 ..............I dont want to earn it in game because I already have a job and when CCP made most my ship only Omega use I stopped playing. I was a casual player did a bit of mining , a few mission and a bit of pvp. But now....I'm afraid not. This expansion does nothing for me or fills me with any enthsiasm to want to open my wallet.
Way too much focus on null sec, deployables etc etc. Null sec was fun when it was pos and renters. A mothership was a rarity and fights didnt degenerate into capital ship blob and tie di.
Incursions and all these other things have done nothing for new players or returning players. CCP just makes everything too complicated.
You guys are always so good at slapping yourselves on the back and proclaiming what a good job you have done with the new changes but they are changes because the last ones sucked and you are trying to put those right and those before etc etc

last update was on faction warfare - it's pretty good if you are just coming and going to the game like with other games. This update finally fixes stuff for us (nullsec dwellers) and lets us also build ships cheaper and sell them to you cheaper too

Was hoping that there was going to be a change that gives Cap pilots a reason/purpose to bring out the Cap ships outside of just pvp/blob. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they were able to accomplish that. A decent amount of questionable decisions were made too with the LP change to hulls and with nerfing C2-C4 wh ratting since they cant bring a dread or carrier out of those to rat the C5. I am skeptical to see how they play out.
I swear eve people are some of the biggest cry babies.
Everyone seems to think theyve got better ideas but none of them have a game to show us that is better.

too much at one time its already a overwhelming game n your going to lose a lot of new players who are already having a hard try to figure it all out my 2cents
They know it's only an upgrade for alliances not corps and players. No on will touch a skyhook unless they want to be kicked by the alliance due to the fact corps don't need them.
It can only be used in null anyway.
@@Jeff55369 null corps and players need content too, not just the alliances. Sky hooks is a part of the expansion that benefits like no more than 30 or 40 people 😂
@@umadbroimatroll7918 They can engage with the content. There are alliances that are not centralized around a holder corp. Not only that, but players can and will raid their enemy skyhooks.

@@mattpedley7013 Sorry didn't see this, yeah you have to have a cap on grid to spawn the drifter. So if you live in a low class with C5 static you're not doing them.

How is taking away fully assembled ships for LP "fundamentally good"? Not everyone wants to take time to build ships. Why not just add the BPCs as another option that you can purchase with LP. You guys like to add things that aren't fun and you do with a smile like it's the best thing ever. Also, do the new moon drills really have no way to defend themselves?

notice that the datacores for the new ships are only available from FW LP stores, instead of being available from exploration and R&D agents as well like other datacores are. They are somehow proud of making it FW exclusive. But thats how they operate, you play the way CCP wants you to play, and if you dont like content they previously updated or added they will find ways to force you to do it. Similar to how they shove Evermarks down everyones throats.. Long story short the people who are maintaining this game are amateurs
Ship trading was a very painful thing for ship builders and created some heavy pressure on price and balancing of the construction cost
Content for the 90+% off players falling off is like, uhm, bad. New Player Retention people.
New player retention in most online/ mmo games is like 10% and no matter what you do it won't change much.... new player experience/ UI/ login rewards are revamped every 2 years and it doesn't help much. f2p had the biggest impact but after an initial spike it flattened out again
EvE is in a weird place, it's 20 year old, it's easily multiboxed (unlike other games which are 1 window only or 2-3 max, because you simply can't manage more- too much action) and older players have the most alts.. so if you disappoint them, even if the oldbros are a few percent of playerbase, logged-in numbers drop by 30% and that's also 30% of subscriptions lost if it goes on long enough. Look what happened after industry changes/ cap nerfs. Or during blackout (it was short, players returned after a month or two).
New player rentention has been the focus of this company for years. Ive seen another but NPE upgrades yearly. Null sec is way past due for expansions.

Nope, all good changes. Games been stagndant, dull and dying ever since CAPS were nerfed.
