  • Knee pain and injuries are always a risk for for professional and recreational athletes alike. Some studies indicate the average recreational runner has a 37 to 55% chance of being injured during the course of a year's training. One of the most common forms is patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS), also known as Runner's Knee.
    When you're assessing for PFPS there's a few key thing to watch for: pain in the retropatella, pain during squats, and pain during squish tests while the knee is in extension.
