We’re there on the 15th….a very impressive place to be….I’ve also been there when the river was way down and it’s really beautiful then also …..I was born and raised 65 miles from there but didn’t know this existed until my wife and I stumbled upon it in our 40’s. 😢
@Camp and Tramp Kayakers are truly insane. I live near where the Olympic kayaker train and just watching them gives me anxiety...lol! I prefered a large rubber raft when I used to live in Utah going down the Green and Colorado rivers. But that was many, many years ago. 😳
Thanks. I hope to create a more watchable video from all the footage someday. In order to publish video when it was current I just selected all the scenes and used Magic Movie. It was a mix of Slo-Mo and regular.
Oh it's real. I was there 4-30 and it was just as wild. Never heard of this place and my gf recommended us to stop by on our way to duluth. Walking that swing bridge hungover is nuts 😆 🤣. I came back the next day and I was OK but not the first time. That bridge had my mind pretty perplexed. It was hilarious considering I work heights . Cool ass gem of a place to check out in Minnesota.
I'm beginning to think Minnesota is one big giant melt.
Loving this state 💝
Какая мощь! Сила и красота необузданная!!!!!👍👍👍💪💪💪💪

Yes It’s an amazing place. I too drove by on my way to Duluth for many years before I stopped by in the 1980’s.
I was there 4-30. It was truly something to witness .
Man I have a mic that would picked up some amazing audio! I photograph waterfalls and rivers also. Amazing shots!
Thanks! Yes the sound was incredible. It was hard to leave but my feet were soaked from being there all day and I was cold!
That's just Wild. Nature is going to do it's thing and some time's all we can do it get out of the way in a safe place watch and learn.
Can't play proper music because of copyright, but silence would be better than this numbing dirge.
Powerful views. Reminds me of the Colorado River at full runoff. I know some river runners would go ape s**t to run those class 5 rapids.
Some kayakers with boats were eying the river from the parking lot but I don’t think any attempted it!

nice video b u t the constant variation of the playback speed drives me nuts

If a river can be described as malevolent, this would be it.
I agree. People were keeping their distance and in awe.
My Canadian friends would call that a good tubing river. 😂
Spoiler alert:
The water always wins. Maybe not in our lifetime. Look at the Grand Canyon. The water always wins.
Amazing video but the music is driving me away
I’ve uploaded a version of the footage without music.
This would be a lot better without music. I'd rather hear the water.
There is another version on Camp and Tramp without music entitled “The Swinging Bridge No Music” you may like.
Looks fake
It’s CGI.
You won't survive the next disaster.
