The set from Like a Virgin to Papa Don't Preach from the Blond Ambition Tour is by far the best of all shows she has ever done. I get chills with all the perfect transitions and story telling she act out on stage. Pure art. Maybe best live sequence by any artist in history, imo
This whole tour was groundbreaking and she kept going on- she had Donna and Niki who supported her. This show was a spectacle and I’m amazed she went through it. You have to have so much energy to do that.

God, I couldn’t give a fuck about her voice. If you can’t see the other layers to this incredible performance but just focus on her voice, then you’re not worth of this artistry.
i really wish just for this part of the show that she just kept it cool with the touching herself. because putting these two songs together like this is probably the most powerful and moving performance i have ever seen of hers. this is very very personal, and unfortunately way too many people can relate to the theme... i have tears streaming down my face. i am not really a Madonna fan. but this song combination/performance is stunning. only the unnecessary sexual moves kept breaking my connection.
I honestly don’t see the inappropriate touching you complain about here, except near the beginning. This sequence comes directly after the Like a Virgin and then Like a Prayer, and then followed by Papa Don’t Preach...and M was telling a story. It looked more like she was holding her womb like she was maybe pregnant in the story
