Despite being a beautiful song it was also the first song she had released that showed off her more mature voice after the accusations of being like Minnie Mouse on her first two album's. Also I love how dark and mysterious it is, you can't tell exactly what its about. Finally it has never been anything less than stunning and dramatic live. ❤❤

I have always liked this song but it wasn’t one of my top 10. I listened to it live when she performed it at the confessions tour and it was amazing, but this time in Rio the feeling was deeper, she was incredible and it got to me in a way that it hasn’t before. I can honestly say that it has become one of my favorite songs now. I take a bow to her. This show was a perfect 10.

We must protect Madonna at all costs. It was not until I saw Girlie show that Madonna was very involved in the fight against AIDS. I saw the Girlie show on dvd.

I went to see her firsts rows in Mexico, it's live, I noticed the imperfections and even little mistakes on the lyrics that only a true fan will notice. What I'm sure is she has a good sound engineer and some kind of effects that helped her (and obvious backing track). But she sang almost everything live, give her a break at her 65 years old.
No flashy trannies on stage with her, no hard-bodied latex-clad femmes, no misogyny in other words. This is Madonna at her best, just singing the darned song(s). Wish she would do this variety of performance, more often.
