Tiger Woods' chase for Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA TOUR wins began at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational, his first TOUR win in just his fifth professional start. Over 20 years later Woods' excellence has seen him raise a trophy in six countries and 16 different American states.

Im so happy these are available for the younger guys to watch. You really need to appreciate what this man has done and will continue to do, there will not be another to dominate like Tiger did i promise you. Not in this lifetime anyway ENJOY HIM WHILE WE HAVE HIM PLEASE!!!
I don't particularly like golf. Don't play golf. But I can't watch enough of these videos of Tiger......................playing golf!! It's kind of weird actually.
Welp. They said that about Nicklaus....Maybe the next Woods is like 4 right now. lol
You’re so right, Brian. I didn’t get into golf until after Tiger’s prime so I missed all this. These are great for a little perspective
@@ScratchArkkitehti The "next Tiger" if there ever will be one as singlehandely above everyone else... Im guessing its going to be his son, Charlie!
Not young, but I constantly watch. Can't help it.
All golf fans know about Tiger's dominant major victories: the 2000 US open that he won by 15 shots, the 97 masters, etc. I'm shocked to see how many other tournaments he won by at least 5 shots or more. Any given year he won more events than most pros win in a lifetime. In his heyday he was probably winning 40% or more of the tournaments he entered. Don't forget, each time he teed it up there were 140+ other players trying to beat him. He's an unbelievable talent.
According to the PGA highlight team, people only care about putts
And from people you’ve never heard of
Tiger's career went from amazing.. to unbelievable.. to down right spooky, like there was some hidden force at work every time he teed it up. The things he did (and the putts he made) defied the odds - and he made these shots time after time in the most difficult circumstances for the best part of a decade. Dude must've lived a good chunk of his life 'in the zone' as they call it. And as good as he is in this video, it still doesn't really illustrate what I'm talking about. You'd have to watch the first 30 wins of his career to get a sense of that. I still shake my head in disbelief.
The 2000 PGA was a testament to forces at play and being as clutch as anything I’ve ever seen. It’s what brought me to the game
I can't believe it's been over 10 years. I miss the days of the dominant Tiger...when golf was at its peak.
In the late '90s through the 2000s, trying to get a tee time at my home golf course was next to impossible. Nowadays, I can walk on anytime and walk right onto the course.
what an unbelievable final round from Tiger
what an unbelievable final round from Tiger
these videos should be called “putting highlights”
Some of the worst commentary I have ever heard in the early part... when the real commentaters come on around 5 minutes in ...it becomes watchable
Rorys attitude is my dad 100% on the course. Just makes you want to quit all together because of the negativity.
Josh Hart he thinks he was better than he was. All that attitude and no game to back it up
It’s so easy to hate on Sabbatini. Has such a punchable face. Lol
i hope the bridgestone comes back its probaly one of the best tournmants that isnt a major
That Golf swing was Incredible iron play was 🔥
Damn, Firestone was tough that year.
Kenny Perry looks like an amateau compared to Woods... such a wonky swing, unathletic... he just looks like he does not belong!
They don't let me play because having a dude shoot every round in the 50's doesn't create enough drama for TV. The outcome is already known and everyone else is playing for second place.
22:31 wish I had that much swagger
😂 it was just a club flip dude lol
The 2000 to 2013 era of golf was the best not gonna lie🤷♂️
never know next 5 years could be special if Tiger grabs a few more majors
@@theboss-ic2xc that would be the only reason to make it better 👍👍 I'm just a die-hard tiger fan and the 2019 masters was a blessing 😎
the boss the man has won a major in his first 5 starts pretty much because he didn’t play in 2016-2017 because his back so he’s barely getting started
the boss Tiger is 32under in his last 3majors from the open-masters.... that’s more than anyone in the field rn that’s his best scoring in 3 majors in a row since 2006 Open 2006 PGA CHAMP and 2007 masters where he scored 33under in those 3 majors
In addition this is his Highest single-season greens in regulation percentages for Tiger Woods on the PGA TOUR
This season (2019): 75.6%
2000: 75.2%
2006: 74.2%
2002: 74.0%
@@VonikGames yes I have seen that stat amazing he could have had 3 straight, can not wait to see how the next year plays out, I say he definitely will win at either bethpage or pebble
