Oconee Point Campground (USACE) Sites 1-42

This video is intended to compliment the Army Corp of Engineers website campground information. The information on their website about each campsite is useful in choosing a site and their pictures are good, but not always the best view. I have found a ride through the sites on a bicycle to be helpful. I spent the weekend at Oconee Point on the last weekend they were open in 2019. The park was not too busy, so I had the opportunity to ride through most of the sites. There are a lot of campsites, so I broke the videos up into 2 parts. The sites are in order, so you can skip to the ones you want to see. I hope this helps

We were up at Oconee Point Campground a few weeks ago and it was excellent! A great example of the COE campgrounds around Hartwell on both the GA and SC sides of the state line. Hope to have our video up soon!

Thanks for the ride along. USACE campgrounds are so well kept and spacious. With a lifetime senior pass, they’re also a great bargain. I’m going to try site 42 and see if I can park the kayak right next to it on the lake.

Great video! I'm heading there tomorrow afternoon, site 14 which in my opinion is the second best site in the campground. Site 70 is the best because of privacy and room. I can pull my 30 ft Class A into that parking area on site 14 and then back it right into place with no problem.

Do any of these site have full hook ups.
Water sewer and electric?

Only the "Host" sites have sewer. Everything else is water and 50amp only.
